00:00 I'm near Victory Square in Hartlepool and I'm with Angela from Lianne's Wellbeing.
00:03 I just watched you put up a pop-up tent.
00:06 It looked a bit easy. Was it easy?
00:08 It really is easy. I think it took about 50 seconds.
00:11 That's good.
00:12 So you pop it off, pop it off and pop it up.
00:15 Tell me, what's it about? What are you doing it for?
00:17 Well, we're trying to get people who are homeless, who can't get housed for whatever reasons,
00:23 and there's a lot of different reasons people can't get housed.
00:26 Yes.
00:26 And it's trying to get them somewhere warm, dry, safe for the night.
00:30 Sleeping bags aren't enough anymore. People need actual space because it's just not fair.
00:36 So how do they get holding on? What do they have to do?
00:38 They literally just have to pop into Lianne's Wellbeing, have a chat with us.
00:44 We'll work out whether we can support them into accommodation, get them into the council,
00:48 get them assessed and everything, get them on the homeless register.
00:51 And from there, we then establish whether they've got a roof over their head from the officials.
00:55 If the answer's no, then we support them with that.
00:57 So if they haven't got a roof over their head, you can come and get it tent up here?
01:00 Yep.
01:01 Do they keep it or do they use it for a few days until they get sorted?
01:03 It's theirs.
01:05 That's very good. Good luck with it.
01:07 Thank you.
