The launch by MKM Building Supplies of the Hartlepool Mail-backed Christmas gift appeal

00:00I'm in Byrne Road at MKM, building supplies with branch directors, have I got that right?

00:05Oh that's good. Michael, this is the launch of the Give a Gift appeal. It's looking a

00:11bit sparse in front of you. What would you say to people who you're going to

00:14have to donate? Well just make them aware that I suppose that every time we do

00:18this appeal it works out absolutely brilliantly and again we're looking

00:23forward to this year's appeal. Last year was such a good success, probably the

00:28best ever. I think we probably gave out something in the region of 800 gifts.

00:32That's a lot. So certainly we'd like to get to that particular point again this

00:37year if not more. But certainly we're all revved up and all ready to go and we'll do our

00:42very best to ensure that we get out there as many presents as we can to the

00:47children of Hartlepool. And across the range, boys, girls and babies as well?

00:52Absolutely, from babies up to sort of 15, 16 year olds, anything that would

00:56fit into that gap would be marvellous. So you know please do everything you

01:02can to you know come down to the branch, drop something off and we'll make sure

01:06it gets to some kid in this town that's for sure.
