00:00 February the 29th. Dear diary, this morning was much like any other morning,
00:07 and when I took my usual walk, I had no idea that on this day I was destined to find the girl of my dreams.
00:15 Wow!
00:23 (whistles)
00:25 (hums)
00:29 I suppose the whole thing was my fault. I was just a lonesome bachelor searching for my ideal.
00:47 Oh dear!
00:49 (whistles)
00:51 (whistles)
00:55 Ah yes, I'm quite impulsive by nature.
01:03 (whistles)
01:05 And yet I can't say I was unhappy as a bachelor, though at times I felt I was missing something.
01:13 Help! Help! Save me!
01:16 Oh darn!
01:19 My technique was simple. I swept her off her feet.
01:23 (whistles)
01:24 My search was over. At last I found my dream girl.
01:29 Took her to the latest movies. Just two crazy kids.
01:33 We dined at the best places.
01:38 I took her to my favorite spot.
01:44 (whistles)
01:46 And she took me to hers.
01:50 And when I could resist her no longer, I kissed her.
01:58 Ah, I knew I was winning her over. I was invited to meet the family.
02:05 (buzz)
02:06 (whistles)
02:08 Donald, meet my brothers.
02:12 (snickers)
02:14 And this is my mother.
02:16 Hey, what's the name?
02:18 Donald Duckman.
02:20 Hmm, and this is Daddy.
02:24 Ah yes, they were my kind of people.
02:28 I knew the time was now to pop the question.
02:32 Ah, tonight's the night.
02:37 Here comes Dreamboat.
02:40 Dreamboat's not coming, just move it slowly.
02:44 (buzz)
02:45 (squeaking)
02:49 I am going home.
02:51 Be down as soon as I powder my nose, dreamer.
02:55 (humming)
02:59 Alone at last.
03:03 The stage was all set for my big moment.
03:07 (snoring)
03:13 - Look at you, baby. - Should I?
03:22 Baby!
03:24 At last my dreams had come true.
03:31 Her family didn't feel they'd lost a daughter, but had gained a son.
03:36 Goodbye, Daisy.
03:41 She helped plan our honeymoon.
03:45 (snoring)
03:48 But I promised them.
03:59 She was loyal.
04:01 She was sensitive.
04:04 (gasp)
04:05 And had a wonderful sense of value.
04:08 Hmm.
04:10 We drove directly to our dream cottage.
04:14 (snoring)
04:18 Alone at last.
04:20 Don't drink no mud on them flowers.
04:28 Well, with the honeymoon over, we settled down to domestic life.
04:32 And got to know each other better.
04:35 Your body?
04:36 (scream)
04:37 What's the matter?
04:39 I'll never forget that first evening when I return home.
04:45 (snoring)
04:48 Land Rover!
04:51 (humming)
04:57 (barking)
04:59 She had prepared my favorite dish.
05:04 Dinner, sir.
05:10 And how surprised I was to see her family.
05:26 Now, after a hearty meal, I went for my favorite chat.
05:30 That's garbage, Buster.
05:32 I began to notice a change in Daisy.
05:35 What had happened to this beautiful thing between us?
05:40 Was this the wedded bliss I'd dreamed of?
05:43 I was losing my identity.
05:46 I had become a... a robot.
05:49 Cut the grass.
05:50 Wash the dishes.
05:51 Clean the rug.
05:52 Pick up the trash.
05:53 Smock the floors.
05:54 Dust the furniture.
05:55 Take out the cats.
05:56 Where's the farm?
05:57 Wash the dishes.
05:58 Cut the grass.
05:59 Wash the dishes.
06:00 Where's the furniture?
06:01 Where's...
06:02 Donald.
06:04 Donald.
06:05 Dreamer boy.
06:07 Wake up.
06:09 (scream)
06:13 Dear diary, it was a narrow escape.
06:20 Though I was born when I kissed her,
06:23 I died when we parted.
06:26 But I lived for a little while.
