00:00 >> As a kicker, whether it was growing up or in high school or whatever,
00:04 how do you learn how to kind of keep calm in big moments when you're kicking in
00:10 front of now at the college level 70,000 plus people sometimes?
00:14 >> I guess it just comes with experience.
00:16 I mean, our high school team had some big games.
00:18 So just keep your mind quiet, I guess,
00:21 just with a couple opportunities you get used to it.
00:25 >> You gotta learn how to just quiet your mind.
00:28 Any other, I mean, any tips or tricks to accomplish that,
00:31 to get to that point when you're coming up?
00:35 >> Just don't think too much.
00:36 You got to stretch your training, your body knows it better than your mind.
00:40 Really, so you can quiet that up, your body will do its job.
00:45 So as long as you don't overdo it, change up anything.
00:48 >> Why was Washington a place for you when you were a free agent?
00:53 >> The coaches really felt like home, away from home kind of,
00:57 Coach DeBoer, Coach McCoach, training all did a great job of creating a family culture.
01:03 And I appreciated that, especially being a couple states away.
01:08 I just think the perspective that they held and
01:12 the knowledge that this would be a big time program going forward definitely made
01:17 an impact.
01:18 >> When you hit that 43 yarder, I guess it was against USC,
01:22 did you know right away that you got it?
01:24 It seemed like maybe you weren't quite sure in terms of your body language.
01:29 >> Yeah, I hit it well.
01:30 I was aiming pretty much straight forward, so I was a little right of center.
01:34 So I was a little nervous at first, but it stayed true and
01:38 my ball flight stayed straight, so it was good.
