00:00 Our team was fine, they were great at practice today.
00:02 Once you go through the tape and get over it, we got a 24 hour rule.
00:05 Right now we're getting ready for Tennessee, focus is good,
00:07 practice was good.
00:08 >> What was the biggest lesson they should have gotten out of that game?
00:12 >> You gotta finish the game, you gotta finish the game, we already know that.
00:17 >> Can you go back and look like the last drive that they had on offensive
00:21 figures, offense overcame a lot of things, right?
00:25 An eight yard loss, a fourth down conversion, they gave me a zone.
00:30 Under any other circumstance you're celebrating, but
00:34 what can they gather from that sort of efficiency in a big moment like that,
00:39 to convert and score 30 some points?
00:43 >> We did a lot of good things offensively, we can build off of that.
00:46 One of our better scoring games of the year,
00:47 probably our best scoring game of the year to be exact.
00:49 So it's gotta build off of it.
00:51 When you lose, it's never good enough.
00:53 We got a lot of things we can still work on, so we'll be working on that.
00:56 >> With Stroud, obviously, with CJ, you'd seen eight games to build on.
01:02 Levis only had two.
01:03 Is there enough film to where you have a sense of what you'll get or
01:05 what they'll do with him on Sunday?
01:07 >> I know what the arm strength is, you prepare for the team, not the quarterback.
01:11 The quarterback is a product of the system that the team is running, so
01:13 you get ready for the team.
01:15 >> I understand you guys had a visitor who met with Will Levis in the pre-draft
01:18 process, just what did you see out of him, what jumped out to you?
01:22 >> Ooh, he's a smart guy.
01:26 He's a good quarterback, he's very smart, he's aware.
01:29 He has a very strong arm, he's very athletic, and he had all the tangibles.
01:34 >> Coach, along those lines with Levis, obviously, you have the film and
01:37 early scouts, but when you have a player like Yaya,
01:40 who played against him so recently last season,
01:43 how much do you use his knowledge to sort of add to your scouting report?
01:49 >> Not really, I mean, it's a different scheme for Yaya,
01:51 it's a different scheme for Will.
01:53 They're not in college anymore and they got their own things to worry about.
01:56 I'm sure Will is a quarterback, Yaya is an outside backer.
02:00 We know how athletic he is and he can be, and we know how strong his arm is.
02:03 So other than that, there's really nothing to talk about.
02:05 >> Tom, what is it like going up against a running back like Derrick Henry,
02:11 who's built like a truck?
02:13 >> Sorry, I can speak for the other 31 teams in the league.
02:17 He's a load, I mean, he's tough, he's tough, he's a load.
02:21 And you know what they're gonna do, and he's coming, he's bigger than your line
02:25 backers, your outside backers, your inside backers, and all your DBs.
02:28 So we gotta try and game tackle.
02:31 >> And then also in safety, is Ryan Neal going to start this game, or
02:34 are you gonna continue to deploy a hot hand situation, or switch him in and out?
02:39 >> Well, we don't dispose of game plan stuff, but
02:42 everybody should be prepared to play.
02:45 >> Tom, after the game you were saying that we should be the team,
02:48 just like pissed off the whole week.
02:50 Do you get the sense from your team that they're kinda pissed off?
02:56 >> They work hard, we're pissed off at every loss, not after that one.
02:59 >> Tom, what's the most encouraging signs you're seeing with this team as far as
03:04 the ability to snap this four game losing streak?
03:06 Are there certain situations within the team that you're seeing that
03:10 you're seeing some progress?
03:13 >> I mean, we've had it all along, we play together and we stay together.
03:16 We go through ups and downs together, we're a close knit group.
03:19 There's progress being made by the offense.
03:21 There was progress being made by the defense.
03:25 We gotta just play all together at the same time.
