00:00 The New York Giants were destroyed yet again by the Dallas Cowboys, who racked up 640 yards
00:06 of total offense and who saw seven different players score touchdowns in a 49-17 route.
00:14 Dallas has officially outscored the Giants 89-17 this season.
00:19 Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito, making his first NFL career start, finished 14-27 for
00:25 86 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
00:29 He was sacked five times and rushed for 41 yards on seven carries in what was a fairly
00:34 encouraging showing given the circumstances.
00:38 But overall, the Giants just don't seem to belong on the same field as some of their
00:41 opponents this year.
00:43 They still haven't scored a touchdown in the first quarter, and they have now been shut
00:47 out in the first half in four of their 10 games played, scoring just two offensive touchdowns
00:52 in the first half of those games.
00:54 Again, those coming in the second quarter.
00:57 For the fourth straight game against Dallas, Wake Martindale's defense failed to record
01:02 a sack against the Cowboys, who finished with an average of 8.3 yards gained per play on
01:07 offense.
01:09 And what would a Giants blowout loss be without injuries?
01:12 Outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeau and receiver Jaylen Hyatt both suffered concussions, and
01:18 quarterbacks Deontay Banks and Cordell Flott suffered injuries as well, Banks hurting his
01:23 ankle and Flott hurting his shoulders.
01:26 The Giants wrap up a three-game roach swing next week against the Washington Commanders
01:31 before returning home to host the New England Patriots before their bye week.
