The dilemma over what to have for breakfast has been solved - with a Full English waffle.
Known as the ‘British Breakfast Waffle Trio’, the traditionally-sweet favourite has been infused with flavours of the classic Full English, with a range of batters including black pudding and bacon, tomato and mushroom, and Cumberland sausage with orange zest.
Topping options include an English tea whip, orange marmalade drizzle, baked bean-infused whipped cream, black coffee syrup, and crispy hash crumble.
The waffle was created by the hotel brand Hampton by Hilton, after research of 2,000 adults found three in 10 claim to be more experimental with their morning meals, with 59 per cent open to trying unusual food combos.
Pauline Wilson, vice president, focused service operations, EMEA, Hilton, said: “With more than half of Brits being more experimental with their morning meals at hotels we're excited to offer our guests the British Breakfast Waffle Trio - a loving tribute to the iconic traditional fry-up."
The study found Londoners take the title for being the most daring (53 per cent) at breakfast time, while the Welsh (77 per cent) and those in the East of England (77 per cent) admit to lacking in the creative department for the first meal of the day.
It also emerged 61 per cent will usually eat the same thing every day at home, but 51 per cent claim to be more experimental when they are away.
A fifth of those polled will eat a traditional fry up at least once a week, with 52 per cent opting for savoury over sweet, but 37 per cent enjoy the two flavours equally.
The research, carried out via OnePoll, also revealed cooking websites are the most popular resource for ‘foodspiration’ (22 per cent), with the same percentage turning to family and friends for ideas.
It emerged a fifth enjoy watching TV programmes to inspire their cooking choices - more than those who use social media platforms (nine per cent) such as Instagram (13 per cent), YouTube (13 per cent) and TikTok (eight per cent).
The British Breakfast Waffle Trio is available on December 1 when staying at select Hampton by Hilton hotels, including London City, Bath City, York Piccadilly and Edinburgh West End.
Pauline Wilson added: "We hope this innovative waffle flavour combination satisfies the nation’s craving to try something new for their morning meal."

00:00 With the nation claiming to be adventurers breakfast buffets, Hampton by Hilton have
00:05 launched a British breakfast waffle trio.
00:07 Let's see just how wild with waffles these guests are going to get.
00:11 Bean cream?
00:13 Chris, do come over and tell us about the breakfast.
00:18 Well hello, our guests love our free hot breakfast buffet, especially our famous waffles.
00:22 They're getting more experimental, so our chefs have rustled up some interesting flavours.
00:26 Okay, there's a gentleman over there by the waffle iron, let's get him, what are you having
00:30 today sir?
00:31 I'm going to go fairly experimental today, so I'm going to have the tomato and mushroom
00:34 waffle with the baked bean whipped cream and the black coffee syrup.
00:38 So how adventurous do you feel that you've been this morning?
00:41 For me personally, I've done well.
00:43 You've taken on a hill but not quite the mountain.
00:45 Exactly that.
00:46 Back in, I'll just watch.
00:47 Thank you.
00:48 Pleasantly surprising.
00:49 I'm talking with your mouth full.
00:50 Hello.
00:51 What are we having today?
00:52 Well I'm not going to go too far with the flavours, I'm going to go for the Cumberland
00:59 sausage and orange zest waffle and the English tea.
01:04 Hi, I spy with my little eye something beginning with Cumberland sausage and orange zest waffle,
01:09 why that?
01:10 I know I like the Cumberland sausage, I know I like waffles, so I think I'm going to like
01:16 this one.
01:17 Could you have a little mouthful for me now so I can see based on your face how you feel
01:19 about it?
01:21 You look like you like that.
01:22 The song is going down alright.
01:24 It's really good.
01:25 We've been waffling for too long, I'm off.
01:26 Bye.
01:27 I think I've spotted a gentleman over there that looks like he enjoys a free hot breakfast.
01:30 What are you having today sir?
01:33 I'm going to have a black pudding and bacon waffle with hash brown and maybe drizzle it
01:38 with marmalade?
01:39 I can't wait to see you embark on that gastronomic journey.
01:42 Well well well.
01:43 If it isn't our intrepid adventurer.
01:46 It's quite the mountain that you've built on your plate there and I do feel quite inspired
01:49 by your adventurousness and creativity.
01:51 My little bite.
01:52 Oh.
01:53 I knew you were taking it.
01:55 Facial expressions looking like you've never had anything quite like it before.
01:58 Nine out of ten.
02:00 Nine out of ten.
02:01 Nine out of ten.
02:02 Well there you have it.
02:03 A wonderful selection of waffles that really have to be tasted to be believed and in the
02:06 immortal words of Will Young, I think I'd better leave right now.
02:10 (upbeat music)
