We asked people where's the best place for a winter walk in Sheffield.
Transcript
00:00 Where's the best place in all of Tannenhall or Winterbrook?
00:02 I really like Fordstam, it's up and forward, you go through Bingham Park and follow it
00:07 all the way up to Fordstam.
00:09 There's a really nice cafe, Duck Pond, they've just renovated it, done loads of conservation
00:15 work on it, it's really nice.
00:17 That where we went up, is it River Porter up, not Wymanbrook, Lockley Valley, that's
00:27 nice up there, really nice.
00:30 Danflas, we walked round Danflas last weekend, that was nice.
00:34 And then the park, Encliff Park, that's nice.
00:36 Yeah, Encliff Park's nice.
00:37 So if you go up there and follow the stream up, that's really nice, cafe at the top.
00:42 And we walk along the canal towpath a lot, from either into Sheffield to the canal basin
00:48 or into Rotherham.
00:49 Oh yeah, I used to run around that.
00:51 Yeah, from Tindley, and I cycled from where we live at Brinsworth into Rotherham.
00:55 So Victoria Quay he's in.
00:57 Yeah, that's nice, you wouldn't know you were walking nearly through the centre of
01:02 a town.
01:03 Yeah, oh lovely.
01:04 Well, obviously, any walk that ends in a nice warm pub with fire is on with me.
01:12 You know, a good walk would be up Wurlodale from the park at the bottom, you can go all
01:19 the way up and you can end up at Gringinload at the pub up there.
01:22 Oh lovely, is that one of your favourite places?
01:25 There's many favourite pubs, but it is a good one.
01:30 Excellent.
