00:00 How you feeling?
00:01 >> Feeling good, sore, tight, I think it was week 10, right?
00:06 Well, week 11 with the bye week, so everyone's kinda feeling it, but
00:09 feeling good.
00:10 >> You had a game where you're kinda dinged up like that,
00:12 what drives you to keep going?
00:14 >> Just my teammates for sure.
00:15 They give everything they got day in and day out, so
00:20 I have to give the same and just the pride of that.
00:23 And I kinda look at it about this way,
00:25 like Alex Forsythe hurt his shoulder against Washington last year and
00:28 played that whole 17 play drive with AC joint was very hanging on.
00:32 So I can play through anything, so.
00:35 >> I'm gonna ask you about Alex in terms of just the progress you've made this
00:38 year in terms of just kind of football knowledge.
00:39 How much did he help you in having him around for a couple of years?
00:42 >> A ton, I mean, he sends me good luck texts to this day,
00:46 like we have a great relationship.
00:47 But he took me under his wing and he taught me almost everything I know.
00:53 And I really studied him, I really, wherever he went,
00:57 I went like I was a little brother.
01:00 So anything he did and any wisdom that he would give to me,
01:04 I would take and really cherish, so a ton.
01:07 >> How aware are you of just kind of the center position in Oregon and
01:10 history of all the great players that have come through?
01:12 And does that kind of motivate you too in terms of holding that sort of standard?
01:15 >> For sure, there's been a lot of great centers that come through here.
01:18 Like I think about Heronis, I think about Alex,
01:22 I think about so many good guys that have come through here.
01:26 And it's not just that, but their offense alignment.
01:29 Person who wore my number before me, I got to live up to that standard.
01:32 So yeah, just we have a rich history of great offense alignment here and
01:38 we try and uphold that standard every single day and in practice and in games.
