00:00 And in Argentina, more and more citizens and sectors of society are expressing their opposition
00:06 to the national project proposed by Liberty Advances Party, a force that will compete
00:11 next Sunday against the candidate of Union for the Homeland for the new presidency of
00:16 the South American country.
00:18 More details in our report from our correspondent Carolina Silvestre.
00:25 In relation to education, the plan proposed by Javier Millet is inadmissible for Argentina.
00:33 They try to impose the market laws to the social, political, economic, educational,
00:37 health and cultural life of the Argentinians.
00:42 And it is not like that.
00:43 In front of the market laws we have to put a state that regulates, that is, that guarantees
00:48 the rights.
00:50 Concretely, the rights that are established in the national constitution.
00:56 And that's why it is essential to continue to make visible in all corners of the South
01:04 American country what is at stake in the next ballot.
01:08 We are very concerned because it would be a step backwards after the 40 years of democracy
01:15 we have lived, that someone who preaches denialism, who denies the heroes of the Malvinas and
01:21 our grandmothers could become president.
01:23 That they don't take away from us everything that has been fought for, everything that
01:28 has been worked for.
01:29 The rights of working men and women will continue to develop and will continue to exist as long
01:34 as we are with MASA.
01:36 The other one is way out of his mind, really way out of his mind.
01:39 I wouldn't dare to vote for him, apart from the fact that I grew up in a public school,
01:44 in community centers, all public, so I'm going to vote for MASA.
01:48 According to those interviewed, the presidential formula that guarantees social peace, national
01:53 unity and rights, it is that of union for the homeland.
01:57 My expectations for Sunday are obviously the best, especially because I am a Peronist,
02:02 and I consider that being part of a political force whose objective is the happiness of
02:07 the Argentinian people and there being nothing more deserving for this memorable, brave,
02:11 and courageous people than its happiness.
02:14 I consider that there is nothing else but victory.
02:17 Besides, I am very confident.
02:18 I trust a lot in these people.
02:21 I know that these people have memory.
02:22 I know that these people will know how to choose the best option to continue having
02:26 a country.
02:27 It now remains to wait for the citizens to express themselves at the polls on November
02:32 19th to find out who will lead the destiny of Argentina.
02:38 Carolina Silvestre, Telesur, Buenos Aires.
02:41 And we hope you'll join us again next week for another edition of "The Daily Show."
