00:00 Okay.
00:01 Hello.
00:02 We have little microphones today, so this is kind of fun.
00:05 It's like we're on a little podcast together.
00:07 This is our first time ever filming with these little microphones that we just got.
00:11 I feel like a little more professional.
00:14 We are the least professional YouTubers on the face of the planet.
00:17 Via we haven't posted in two plus months.
00:21 We have four children.
00:22 Yes.
00:23 And possibly more coming.
00:24 So life is just very busy at the moment.
00:28 We actually have Sunday back here.
00:29 He's watching this Rachel.
00:30 She just came out.
00:31 So we can film this.
00:32 Yes.
00:33 And the other kids are out there just because we don't have a nanny.
00:36 So yeah, 30 minutes.
00:38 Our kids get to watch a show.
00:39 Yeah.
00:40 So like, when are you guys posting on the little brand family again?
00:43 Are we, you know, and it's just like when we can and we have full intentions to and
00:48 then before we know it, a month goes by because then we can just give like giant updates on
00:52 life.
00:53 It's funny.
00:54 It makes a little more sense.
00:55 It does.
00:56 And it's funny because I remember like six months ago we said like after we'd be here,
00:59 we're like, let's just try and do like monthly vlogs.
01:01 Yeah.
01:02 And I'm like, man, like one vlog a month.
01:04 That's so easy.
01:05 Like, yeah.
01:06 And people are going to miss out so much.
01:07 And then like a month goes by.
01:08 It goes by so fast.
01:09 It's been two months.
01:10 So yes, we love you guys.
01:13 We've even been contemplating like changing this channel as a whole, just because obviously
01:18 we aren't like doing more like couple things like marriage stuff.
01:21 Yeah.
01:22 We aren't vlogging a ton.
01:23 Just with four kids, the kids are very busy and part of moving to Tennessee was shifting
01:26 a lot of things and priorities in our lives.
01:28 So we might kind of shift this back into like a colon salve kind of channel.
01:31 Yeah.
01:32 Let us know what you guys think about that because that might be what we do.
01:35 Yeah.
01:36 Not that we won't like show the kids or like have them, you know, whatever.
01:39 Oh, bless you Sunday.
01:41 Bless you Sunday.
01:43 But it's definitely a lot less family oriented.
01:46 I mean, our families are everything, but you guys kind of, I think you know what we're
01:50 talking about.
01:51 So just let's vlog style essentially.
01:53 Yeah.
01:54 But we have had some pretty big life updates that we are very excited to share with you
01:57 guys.
01:58 Yeah.
01:59 Number one, Everly got baptized.
02:02 Yeah.
02:03 That was huge.
02:04 Yeah.
02:05 This is what, three weeks ago?
02:06 Yeah.
02:07 So we were at church and all of a sudden the pastor's wife comes up and she goes, "So
02:14 is this true?
02:15 Everly wants to be baptized?"
02:16 And I was like, "What?"
02:19 And I like looked at Everly and Everly had filled out a little form that day in church
02:22 and handed it like in.
02:24 So cute.
02:25 She didn't even tell us.
02:26 Yeah.
02:27 She just looked at me and smiles all big and was just like so excited.
02:30 That was probably what, like a month and a half ago or so?
02:32 Yeah.
02:33 It was like a month and a half ago.
02:34 So I was like, "I guess so."
02:35 I'm like, so Everly and Cole actually had a really big conversation about it a few days
02:39 before she got baptized, you know, just explaining it all, making sure she really wants to do
02:45 it because it's a big deal.
02:46 We want her to be the one who does it and she totally was.
02:49 Yeah.
02:50 Well, because like in our house, we talk about God often.
02:53 It's like a very normal and casual and candid conversation and we try to make Him the center
02:58 of everything and we pray before meals and we have weekly Bible studies with the kids.
03:02 But our belief is that we never want to like pressure our kids into something that we believe
03:06 is the biggest decision of their life, especially because she's not even 11 yet.
03:11 So it was one of those things that actually came to us.
03:13 It felt very sincere because it wasn't something that we were kind of like, "Hey, have you
03:16 been thinking about getting baptized?"
03:18 Or like, you know, around this age is whenever, you know, whatever.
03:20 It was really sincere that it was her.
03:24 And so it actually came to us.
03:25 Yeah, she and I had a great conversation on just what it meant, what it meant to give
03:30 your life to Jesus and to be baptized.
03:32 So we're super, super proud of her.
03:34 Yeah.
03:35 And it was cool because I got to baptize.
03:36 And my buddy, he's like one of my best friends, is the pastor of our church.
03:39 So it was really, it was actually the church's very first ever baptism.
03:44 So it was just a very, very special moment.
03:45 I actually forgot, I messed it up.
03:47 I forgot to say in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
03:50 Well, because you were just so cute and you were crying and it was a big emotional moment.
03:54 So he just forgot.
03:55 Yeah, I posted it on my Instagram and obviously I'm kind of nervous, but mainly just like
03:59 as it started getting closer to the baptism, I couldn't even really open my mouth like
04:03 crying.
04:04 Yeah.
04:05 I knew it was going to be an emotional thing, but I didn't.
04:06 It was a lot as a dad.
04:07 So I've never done this before.
04:08 This is my first ever time baptizing somebody.
04:09 So hopefully I get it right.
04:10 But um, Everly came to my wife and I a couple of Sundays ago, telling us that she wanted
04:24 to give her life to Jesus, which is the best thing a parent can say.
04:30 So we went home and we had a conversation just making sure that she really understood
04:34 the severity of what she's doing, but also the importance.
04:39 And it sounds like she truly wants to give her life to Jesus today and every day moving
04:44 forward.
04:45 So, um, as a dad, I couldn't be more proud.
04:48 I'm going to try my best to do this without crying.
04:56 I don't, I don't really have the past or words to say.
05:07 I'm very proud of you.
05:15 You want to give your life to Jesus today and every day moving forward.
05:28 All right.
05:32 Someone's coming in.
05:33 Hey guys, go to go back to your showcase.
05:37 We're filming.
05:38 Be good kids for us.
05:39 I love you.
05:40 Love you baby.
05:41 Love you buddy.
05:42 It was a matter of time before that happened.
05:47 Yeah.
05:48 Um, but yeah, big, big special moment.
05:51 Special moment.
05:52 I do believe that you should baptize in the name of the father, the son and the Holy spirit.
05:56 And so whenever we got home, we got a little bit of water and kind of put on the name of
06:00 the father, son, Holy spirit.
06:01 And she's in the clear now.
06:03 Um, Savannah, so you went to Uganda.
06:09 I did go to Uganda.
06:10 Yeah.
06:11 Ready?
06:12 Okay.
06:13 Sorry.
06:14 You went to Uganda.
06:15 Why I went to Uganda.
06:16 So I think that we said in like the most previous video, maybe two videos ago that we had went
06:23 to an event for a nonprofit and it put, you know, the fire in me to adopt.
06:30 So that same event, it was for a nonprofit called love one.
06:36 And that's essentially who I went with was the owners of loved one.
06:41 Um, and for those that don't know, loved one is an organization that, um, takes in malnourished
06:48 kids.
06:49 So kids whose moms or whoever is taking care of them, um, the kids are malnourished and
06:56 they get dropped off and these babies are so malnourished, like the root, their wrists
07:02 are like this big, their legs are this big, just like the saddest thing.
07:06 Cause we got to see for a few days, um, the moms or aunts or uncles, whoever was coming
07:12 in to drop them off, we got to see the babies that were getting dropped off and it was just
07:16 the most heartbreaking thing that you've ever seen.
07:18 Um, just the fact that, and not so like, like you never judged them, the person taking care
07:24 of them.
07:25 They were so upset that they couldn't feed their baby.
07:30 Like they had, didn't have the means for it.
07:31 They didn't have the breast milk for it because they weren't getting enough food.
07:34 There's just like so many things that go into it and it was just so sad to see.
07:38 So what they do is they have a center that holds right now like 45 kids.
07:43 Eventually very soon in a few months it's going to hold 150 kids plus 24 breastfeeding
07:48 moms, which is awesome because the moms now get to breastfeed and stay with their babies.
07:52 But so right now holds 45 kids.
07:54 I got to go to that center and I got to just go love on all the babies, which was so much
07:59 work for me.
08:00 Cause you know, if you know me, you know how much I love babies.
08:02 So I just got to love on all these babies and these are the babies that get brought
08:06 in.
08:07 So, so essentially when they first get brought in, they get taken to the hospital if it's
08:09 very severe and loved one takes care of everything there.
08:13 And then they get brought to the center once they're stable.
08:16 So once they're stable, they get brought to the center and they just get loved on, loved
08:19 on fed.
08:21 You know, they get to learn, they get to play all the things.
08:25 And there's just the most amazing staff who takes care of them, all the caretakers.
08:29 But it really puts everything into perspective when you see that there's kids out there who
08:33 just don't have food.
08:35 Like and we're over here throwing mac and cheese away, you know, throwing six chicken
08:40 nuggets away.
08:41 Cause our kids only ate one when I made them seven.
08:43 Like it's just, it like really puts it into perspective, just life in general, just everything.
08:50 Like I came back with just.
08:54 And almost like, like an anger when we come back.
08:57 Right.
08:58 And I came, I did come back a little angry, which the girls warned me about.
09:00 We're so selfish here.
09:02 Yeah.
09:03 And, and in some cases it's, I don't want to say it's okay, but it's okay if it's like
09:08 all, you know, but then whenever you do know more, um, I feel like a lot of times like
09:14 we're going to be judged off of what we know.
09:16 Yeah.
09:17 And so now that you know, it's like, what are you going to do about it?
09:19 You know, what kind of sacrifices are you going to make?
09:21 How's your life going to be different because of what you know?
09:25 Yeah.
09:26 So basically that we're walking through.
09:28 And I love that Savannah's leading the way and our family.
09:31 I love that this organization is mom ran women ran.
09:35 Yeah.
09:36 It's really cool.
09:37 Um, they warned me when I came back that I was going to be a little less patient just
09:41 in general with everything.
09:42 And I totally believe that because when I, when I came back, just like little things
09:50 like I don't have enough cute shirts, you know, and you're like, you have 10 shirts,
09:59 you know?
10:00 And I would find myself going, there's kids in Uganda that only have one shirt and they
10:03 have to wash it without a washing machine, just with water and soap outside, hang it
10:10 up to dry and then wear it again.
10:12 You know?
10:13 So like, it's just the first world things that we get so upset about here.
10:17 Yeah.
10:18 Um, so it really just opened my eyes.
10:22 It, it, it just did so, it did so much more to me than I thought it would.
10:26 And I knew it was going to be life changing and amazing, but it just did so much more
10:29 to me by far like then than I did anything for them at all.
10:34 Like I was just a glimpse of like, Oh, who's this girl?
10:37 And I left.
10:38 But for me, it like changed my world.
10:39 Yeah.
10:40 I'm sorry.
10:41 No, no, no.
10:42 We'll link the nonprofit below if you want to donate to it, you can, it's just go.
10:46 I've been there and I know it's going to an amazing cause.
10:50 So amazing and saving so many babies lives.
10:53 So it's really cool.
10:55 And one thing I wanted to add was after they're done at the center, they then get to go back
10:59 with their family, which I think is really cool.
11:01 So it's not an orphanage.
11:02 You know, they're not trying to find families for them.
11:04 They'll put them back with an aunt if the mom isn't able to, or any caretaker in the
11:09 family that can, which I think is awesome.
11:11 So obviously there's cases where there's cases where adoption is necessary, necessary, one
11:16 option if there, if nobody's able to basically.
11:20 So yeah, but I found that really awesome.
11:23 Yeah.
11:24 That's part of it.
11:25 So if you want to donate or anything, they also have really cute merch.
11:27 They have cute sweat outfits and stuff that obviously the money all goes to the nonprofit.
11:32 So we'll all link everything below for you guys.
11:35 So you guys can check it out.
11:36 Something, something that I loved when learning about the, um, the organization was if you're
11:42 not a Christian, um, this is something that you should absolutely support because they
11:46 are taking care of, um, they're taking care of people that can care of kids, sick kids.
11:50 Uh, and there's nothing in my eyes more important than that.
11:54 But as somebody and people who are Christians, they go beyond that.
11:57 And after, and during their time of taking care of these children, um, they're teaching
12:02 them about Jesus.
12:03 So they're not just taking care of them, uh, temporarily, but also, um, eternally.
12:07 Cause I think that it's so important that as people of faith, we don't just put a bandaid
12:12 on a wound and then send them on their way.
12:15 Um, but put a bandaid on the wound, send them on their way with their eternal salvation.
12:20 Uh, hopefully.
12:21 And I know that they were saying like so many of like the workers and the people who like
12:24 built the, you know, places and construction workers and like that, they've like on fire
12:31 for God, everyone there.
12:33 So it's like, uh, and they're just so thankful, so thankful for everything.
12:37 So they're just, they're the best.
12:39 Everyone there was, I haven't done, but it sounds, it sounds really bad.
12:42 I want to take him in every day with me next time.
12:45 Um, I want to add one more thing cause I feel like this is kind of important too, because
12:50 I said there was only 45 kids that could be in the center.
12:53 Don't think that that's just where all the money's going to.
12:55 It's also, they do outpatient programs.
12:57 So obviously they can't take in all of the babies.
12:59 They take in the worst cases and then they do outpatient programs to where they go check
13:03 on the kids, um, throughout the week and they feed, give them food.
13:06 They give the family food to like, you know, make sure that the kids are taken care of
13:11 even after the center and ones that couldn't get taken into the center are being taken
13:15 care of as well.
13:16 So there's just so many things that you're where the money is going to, which is amazing.
13:19 Yeah.
13:20 And their ultimate goal is to take care of every single child in all of Uganda.
13:25 So it's a crazy big wild dream that you think is impossible, but if everybody, everybody
13:30 gets involved, then who knows what's possible.
13:33 And then, you know, Uganda is just one of many countries that needs help.
13:37 But if it breaks God's heart, then it should break ours.
13:42 And who knows where to go.
13:44 I think it's awesome that people are doing something in any small little piece that we
13:48 can, we can play.
13:50 Um, so those are kind of like the two biggest life updates.
13:53 We do have to tell them that we're taking the kids to Disney world tomorrow.
13:58 They have no idea.
13:59 You guys are so excited.
14:01 I packed their suitcases, all of theirs, even really, she might not like me for that one
14:05 because she's such a planner.
14:06 She always packs herself.
14:07 We're going to Disney world tomorrow.
14:08 I packed everybody.
14:09 All right.
14:10 Family meeting.
14:11 Family meeting.
14:12 Everybody in the living room.
14:13 Family meeting.
14:14 Everybody in the living room.
14:15 Family meeting.
14:27 Everybody in the living room.
14:28 Go sit down on the couch.
14:29 We're just having a family meeting.
14:30 That's all.
14:31 Okay.
14:32 I want to get nice and close together.
14:33 We got to ask all questions.
14:38 So it's a Saturday.
14:42 We're trying to figure out what to do.
14:44 So we need the whole family to help us decide what we're going to do today.
14:47 Okay.
14:48 Okay.
14:49 So I have three options on what we can do.
14:50 Okay.
14:51 We can either go to the park.
14:56 We can go to a farm or we could hop on an airplane right now and fly to Disney world.
15:05 Which one should we do?
15:06 Park.
15:07 Park.
15:08 Fly to Disney world.
15:09 Disney world.
15:10 You don't want to go to Disney world?
15:17 For real.
15:18 I already packed all of your guys' suitcases and we're about to leave for the airport right
15:22 now and we're going to go to Disney world for four days.
15:25 Right now?
15:27 Right now.
15:28 Our airplane leaves in two hours.
15:31 So we need to head to the airport right now.
15:33 We're already packed.
15:34 Are you joking?
15:35 No, we're for real.
15:36 But wait, are you sure you don't want to go to the park?
15:37 We can go to the park if you really want to.
15:38 We can go to the park instead?
15:39 I can cancel our flight.
15:40 No.
15:41 I'm going to Disney world.
15:42 Sunday keeps trying to pull this camera off.
15:43 We have some actually home renovation things.
15:44 Yeah, we have some like update stuff we want to show you.
15:45 We should show them the tree house too.
15:46 Yeah, I'm just going to show you guys all the new things in this house because it's
15:47 pretty cool.

17:30 tree house.

18:25 But we come out here every single day.
18:28 I just sleep dope, blow it up because they're under a couple of trees and lots of leaves
18:32 fall on here and here in the fall and winter seasons.
18:35 And mama's picking up some trash because it always gets a little messy.
18:41 Our house is just...
18:43 If it looks like clean, then like we cleaned it up a lot.
18:47 I'll just be like transparent with you guys.
18:50 We got like, you know, some action figures and some Pokemon cards and some bunch of juice
18:54 boxes and a bunch of trash.
18:55 Trash that Savannah's picking up.
18:56 It's an old bowl that's been out here for probably like three months.
18:58 So it's very easy to get these things off camera.
19:00 I mean, you know, water bottles.
19:02 But we aren't like living in a pigsty, old shoes.
19:04 But it's very real.
19:05 So...
19:06 Is it cold?
19:07 It's cold out here, huh?
19:08 It is getting a little chilly.
19:09 So it looks overly clean.
19:10 I really was taking a math test because I told her she had to catch up on some schoolwork
19:16 so she didn't have anything to do next Monday because we're not going to be at school.
19:20 Homeschool perks, let's go.
19:21 Because you guys remember Disney World.
19:22 She doesn't seem to have a clue.

19:33 It's going to be so much fun.
19:34 My wife is so beautiful.
19:35 We'll try to film some of it.
19:36 Right?
19:37 I think we should try for baby boy five.
19:38 Really?
