00:00 Good morning from the Pag-asao Weather Forecasting Center.
00:04 This is our update on the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.
00:09 We will continue to monitor the low-pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:15 Earlier this morning, it was last seen at a distance of 605 kilometers east of Gihuan, Eastern Samar.
00:24 The chance of a low-pressure area of a typhoon is still low for the next few days.
00:30 However, due to the LPA and the shear line,
00:35 or the hot and cold wind,
00:38 we will still experience heavy rains in a large part of our country.
00:42 We expect this heavy rain with thunderstorms and lightning
00:46 in the entire Visayas and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao.
00:51 In the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao,
00:55 we expect the weather system to be cold and windy.
00:59 We expect the temperature to drop, especially in the early hours of the day.
01:04 We expect isolated light rains to be a chance for us to experience fair weather conditions.
01:12 For the rest of Mindanao, we will experience generally fair weather conditions.
01:16 Aside from isolated rain showers and localized thunderstorms.
01:21 At present, we are still monitoring the low-pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:28 Earlier this morning, it was last seen at a distance of more than 2,000 kilometers east of Mindanao.
01:34 The LPA said that the chance of a typhoon is low for the next few days.
01:40 At present, the movement is generally north-westward.
01:46 We do not expect the weather to be directly affected by the typhoon.
01:52 For the weather conditions in Luzon,
01:57 we expect the continuous wind and north-east monsoon.
02:02 We will still experience a half-troubled weather in a large part of Luzon,
02:07 including Metro Manila.
02:10 We still have a chance of thunderstorms, especially in the eastern sections of Luzon.
02:14 In the areas of Cagayan Valley, Apayaw, and Bicol Region,
02:17 we expect thunderstorms and light rain.
02:20 In the southern part of Luzon,
02:22 and if we experience rain in the mentioned areas,
02:26 these are the light rains that are brought by the storm.
02:31 In the parts of Visayas and Mindanao,
02:35 especially in the regions of Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Region,
02:41 we will continue to experience heavy rain,
02:47 landslides, and landslides,
02:49 and the effects of the shear line and trough of the low-pressure area that we monitor.
02:56 In the mentioned areas,
02:58 we will continue to be alert to the sudden flooding and landslides
03:02 and the continuous rain that we will experience.
03:06 We will continue to monitor the rainfall warnings
03:08 or the heavy rainfall advisories
03:10 that are issued by our local regional centers.
03:15 In the southern part of Mindanao,
03:17 it is more likely that we will expect
03:20 later in the afternoon and evening,
03:22 we will expect the chance of heavy rain with light and light rain
03:25 and the end of localized thunderstorms.
03:28 In the situation of our ocean,
03:30 we still have gale warnings in the different parts of our country,
03:34 in the areas of Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur,
03:38 in the part of Cagayan, including the Baboyan Islands,
03:41 in the part of Isabela, Aurora, and the northern coast of Quezon,
03:46 including the areas of the Polilio Islands,
03:50 in the different parts of Camarines Norte, Albay,
03:54 in the part of Calayaan Islands.
03:58 We also have gale warnings in the different parts of Sur Sugon,
04:02 in the northern and eastern coasts of Catanduanes,
04:05 in the northern and eastern coasts of Northern Samar,
04:08 and in the eastern coast of Eastern Samar.
04:10 So to our fellow fishermen and small-scale fishermen
04:14 in the areas mentioned above,
04:15 if possible, let's not get too excited
04:18 because we expect that the flooding and landslides
04:21 will continue to bring heavy rain.
04:28 And in the situation of our weather for the next three days,
04:32 we still expect that the flooding and landslides
04:36 will continue to bring heavy rain
04:39 especially in the areas of the northern and central zone
04:42 from tomorrow, Sunday, until Tuesday,
04:45 we still expect the effects of heavy rain.
04:47 So generally, fair weather conditions,
04:49 there are still chances of light rains or landslides.
04:53 In the part of Legazpi City and a large part of Bicol Region,
04:57 from tomorrow until Tuesday,
04:59 we expect that there will be high chances of flooding
05:02 and heavy rain that will bring heavy rain.
05:05 From tomorrow, Sunday, until Tuesday,
05:09 in a large part of Visayas, including the Metro Cebu area,
05:13 the effects of low-pressure area and shear line will continue,
05:18 so we still expect that the sky will be cloudy
05:21 and there will be heavy rains and landslides in the mentioned areas.
05:25 In the part of Metro Davao and the eastern sections
05:28 or the eastern regions, we expect that for the next two days,
05:32 these rains will continue and generally,
05:35 the improving weather conditions
05:37 will be experienced by Tuesday.
05:41 The sunny days here in Manila will be as hot as 558 degrees in the morning
05:46 and later, it will be as hot as 524 degrees in the afternoon.
