00:13 At the young age of 12, Maria started to learn how to sew.

00:20 Together with her mother, they ran their business of selling different kinds of clothes.

00:26 We are happy and proud because I want us all to have a good life.

00:33 So that I can also give honor to my children and grandchildren.

00:39 Maria is one of 70 micro, small and medium enterprises from Cordillera Administrative Region

00:45 that brought their products to the Festival Supermall Alabang for Impacabsat 2023.

00:51 Impacabsat is one of the initiatives of DTI CAR to help Filipino businessmen who were affected by the pandemic and other natural calamities.

01:00 What we are giving to our MSMEs are programs that will help them in their business.

01:09 That is our business center program.

01:12 They have already their businesses and we also help them improve and develop products, 88 products.

01:25 The purpose of the program is to bring to the public the Filipino crops and products.

01:30 Aside from the clothes, some of the products and services that can be seen here are different kinds of food and woodcraft,

01:37 as well as furniture for the house, tattoos and arts and crafts.

01:41 DTI also has demonstrations to help the festival dancers and teach them some traditional and cultural skills like wood carving.

01:50 Our skills are craft. Actually, Cordillera is known for good craft.

01:58 The prime industry that we have there is weaving so we can have the weaving.

02:03 And we also have the traditional pottery. Demonstration on recycling, repurposing and body tattooing which is of course you can.

02:19 DTI also reminds that they have many programs launched to help our fellow Filipinos to earn and live happily and richly.

02:27 There are other intervening programs like improving their productivity and quality and we have the shared service facilities
