00:00A fire broke out in the Philippines and this is the first time this has happened here in PTV Cordillera.

00:09Two houses were affected by the fire in Dominican Hill, Baguio City.

00:14The fire is now being controlled by the local authorities in Baguio, Culian, and Kalman.

00:19The fire also hit the village of Quirino Magsaysay, which is affected by the fire.

00:26The local authorities are now monitoring the fire.

00:29Mayor Benjamin Magalong of Baguio City is with us on this landslide.

00:34According to the local authorities, five villages and five provinces in Cordillera were affected by the fire.

00:41More than 1,000 families were affected and more than 32,000 individuals were injured.

00:48One house was totally damaged and the other was partially damaged in Cordillera.

00:53It is possible that the fire was caused by a super typhoon,

00:57which suspended classes in Abrakan, Benguet, Bayat, and Kindergarten

01:02and senior high schools and suspended classes in Apayaukan, Baguio City.

01:06The PDRRMC Operations Center was alerted and monitored the effects of the fire in Culian.

01:14There were many incidents of fire in Trinidad.

01:23The PDRRMC Operations Center is in a high alert status to respond to the incidents that occurred in Baguio and Culian.

01:32According to the PDRRMO, one of the major incidents reported by the local authorities was a landslide

01:39that was caused by a super typhoon that suspended classes in Atudu.

01:46We, the municipality of Benguet, are monitoring the situation in Tuglay, Itogon, Tuba, Bugias, and Bacon

01:53and we will continue to monitor the situation in Baguio.

01:58When we saw the situation in Benguet, we were alerted.

02:05We are aware of the high likelihood of landslides.

02:10Of course, we are in close coordination with the municipalities that are monitoring the situation.

02:17According to the Blue Alert Matila Trinidad MDRRMC,

02:21minor landslides have been reported in Dalusan.

02:26We will continue to monitor the situation in Barangay Wangal.
