00:00 "Welcome back to Arkham's Top 40."
00:02 Welcome to WatchMojo!
00:04 And today we're counting down our picks for the funniest robot chicken sketches that will stand the test of time.
00:11 "We just got served, team!"
00:12 "All right, ready to bet!"
00:14 Number 10.
00:18 Grand Theft Mario.
00:19 This hilarious sketch delivered extreme violence and absurdity.
00:24 "Mamma mia! Luigi! We got a pimped out ride!"
00:29 When Mario and Luigi find themselves in Vice City,
00:32 they discover that it's very different from their normal environment.
00:35 "We need some coins, Mario! We have no money!"
00:38 "Leave it to me!"
00:40 Instead of getting coins from hitting bricks, they get headaches.
00:46 And stomping down on unsuspected turtles only gets them in trouble with the cops.
00:51 Let's also just say that the mushrooms they take pack more of a punch than they expected.
00:56 "Look! There's coins everywhere!"
00:59 "Hi, Mario! Hi, Luigi! Mario, no!"
01:02 "Ha ha ha! You go, Mario! Hi!"
01:05 It isn't long until Mario and Luigi's antics escalate,
01:10 and the two end up in an over-the-top and surprisingly brutal shootout with the police.
01:15 "Put your hands in the air!"
01:16 "He's got a wrench! Take him down!"
01:18 The pure absurdity of this fish-out-of-water sketch should serve as a warning.
01:22 Stay out of Vice City.
01:24 Number 9.
01:25 You bet your ass that's a boulder.
01:27 There's something oddly endearing about seeing some elaborate traps being planned.
01:31 "Look at this, huh? Look at this lovely beam of light."
01:34 "Anything touches it, what could happen?"
01:36 "Yah-ha-ha! I spear through the face!"
01:38 "It's the devil's magic!"
01:39 "No, no, no, no. It's just Nalumu over here!"
01:43 In this sketch, a Jovito chief and a contractor discuss traps being made to ward off intruders.
01:49 "Oh, wait! Mechanism, right? Connection coils to the wall, you said it!"
01:53 "The dart? 200 darts! The dart poison? 200 dart poisons! And the dart firing mechanism? I suppose 200 of those too?"
02:00 "Damn it, man! All I wanted were snacks!"
02:04 While the traps are certainly deadly, they're also pretty excessive.
02:08 Seriously, this is one eccentric contractor.
02:11 Spiders, spears, 200 darts, oh, and of course, the gigantic boulder.
02:16 You can't forget the boulder.
02:18 "It'll come rolling down and chase them!"
02:21 "What if they don't run?"
02:22 "Wouldn't you run?"
02:23 "Besides, they'd be trapped inside when the boulder hit the entrance!"
02:25 "What if they had a friend outside who could blast them out?"
02:28 "Who's gonna think of that in advance?"
02:30 The chief just wanted some snakes.
02:32 But that's arguably not nearly as cool as this.
02:35 The list of many traps that the contractor plans to sprawl out can be a bit much.
02:40 But hey, at least it's going to get the job done. Probably.
02:44 "You liked what I did with that salt acid trap in Hammunaptra, Egypt, right? You loved it."
02:48 "And that skeleton organ that made the floor collapse in Astoria, Oregon? Trust me!"
02:52 "This is my thing, dude!"
02:54 "People will be talking about this one for years."
02:57 Number 8. 1776
03:00 Spoiler alert!
03:02 This sketch isn't exactly very historically accurate.
03:05 But we kind of wish it were.
03:07 It definitely would have made history class way more interesting.
03:11 "General Washington, the Redcoats outnumber us a billion to twelve!"
03:15 "They're not American! For tonight, we dine in Virginia!"
03:22 This parody of the movie 300 portrays some extremely exaggerated moments from the Revolutionary War.
03:27 "King George would like to speak with you. This is a British colony!"
03:34 "British? This is America!"
03:38 You can say what you want about the Founding Fathers.
03:41 But a shirtless George Washington punching a polar bear will never not be funny.
03:46 Or John Hancock slamming his ink feather like a sword down onto the Declaration of Independence.
03:52 Signing things never looks so cool.
03:54 There are tons of great moments packed into this minute-long sketch that'll make you laugh.
03:58 All we have really left to say is that Robot Chicken really outdid themselves with this one.
04:02 "1776. It ain't accurate, but it'll blow your f***ing mind!"
04:08 Number 7. Apocalypse Pony
04:11 "Uh-oh! Are you kids being bad?"
04:13 "Yeah!"
04:15 "You know what that means!"
04:16 "Punishment from above!"
04:18 "My little pony, apocalypse pony, punish mankind for their sins!"
04:23 Friendship might be magic, but these ponies are all out of friendship.
04:28 As a way to keep your kids in check,
04:30 the apocalypse ponies threaten to bring destruction to anyone who misbehaves.
04:34 "I'm famine pony!"
04:36 "Meow!"
04:39 Admittedly, it might be a little bit extreme and crazy,
04:43 but how else are you going to get your kids to stop scribbling on the walls and crayon?
04:47 The apocalypse ponies consist of pestilence pony, famine pony, war pony, and death pony.
04:53 "Oh, how sad! The poor thing can't hear!"
04:56 "No, mom, I think he said..."
04:57 "Growl!"
05:02 Okay, sure, maybe the apocalypse ponies will destroy the world,
05:05 but hey, at least they'll have fun doing it.
05:08 "I love you, apocalypse ponies!"
05:10 Number 6. M. Night Shyamalan's 'The Twist'
05:14 "What a twist!"
05:17 This sketch hilariously points out M. Night Shyamalan's over-reliance on twists
05:22 by having multiple absurd situations play out
05:25 with a fictionalized M. Night declaring them as "great twists".
05:29 "M. Night in the pantry!"
05:31 "Dude!"
05:36 "Oh my God! I just swallowed a bar of cup of sugar!"
05:40 "What a twist!"
05:41 When the sketch starts, he finds out his house is on the moon.
05:45 By the end, he and his family are dancing with aliens.
05:48 "Let's dance!"
05:49 "What a twist!"
05:54 While M. Night is a talented filmmaker,
05:57 fans and critics alike could see that he was starting to fall into a pattern
06:01 of forcing his films to have a shocking twist.
06:04 His earlier works were great and only elevated by their suspenseful reveals,
06:08 but eventually it was clear that the well was getting dried up.
06:12 But we actually have a plot twist of our own.
06:14 This sketch is gold.
06:16 Number 5.
06:17 "You Got Robo-Served"
06:19 Somebody is definitely serving in this weird but highly entertaining sketch.
06:24 "He's holding a weapon!"
06:26 "Let me see you work it, work it!"
06:30 "I wanna watch you work it, work it!"
06:32 In "You Got Robo-Served",
06:34 Voltron engages in a dance-off against the Ro-Beast.
06:37 Did we mention that this is a dance battle to the death?
06:40 Okay, fine, no one's dancing actually causes anyone to die.
06:44 But that didn't take away from this battle's high stakes.
06:47 [Music]
06:50 There's nothing quite like seeing a fight consisting of music,
07:00 taunting and highly eccentric movements that we dare to call dancing.
07:05 Believe us when we say this is still a battle you can't afford to miss.
07:09 "Serve, serve, serve, serve, serve, serve!"
07:13 Despite losing, sorry Voltron, but you just don't have it,
07:17 Voltron still saves the day by slaying Ro-Beast with a sword.
07:21 Why didn't they just lead with that?
07:23 "And in other news tonight, Voltron got totally served."
07:26 "Damn!"
07:30 [Laughter]
07:31 Number 4.
07:32 "The Arkham Redemption"
07:34 "The Joker came to Arkham Asylum in the summer of '09."
07:38 "I know as much, because I remember thinking,"
07:42 "that is the whitest son of a bitch I have ever seen."
07:45 This sketch puts a whole new meaning to toilet humor.
07:48 "The Riddler writes, 'Joker, can you please play 'Who Let the Dogs Out?'"
07:53 "Well, Riddler, here's your death row dedication."
07:59 "Yes!"
08:00 In a direct parody of 'The Shawshank Redemption',
08:03 Joker is sent to Arkham, where he ends up causing all kinds of comedic chaos.
08:08 "I hear you're a man who can get things."
08:11 "Well, that depends."
08:13 "I need a large poster of Phyllis Diller."
08:16 "That may take time."
08:17 "Time's the one thing I've got."
08:19 "Well, that and dementia."
08:22 From the iconic voice work of Mark Hamill as Joker
08:25 to Batman as the hyper-aggressive Warden,
08:27 this sketch fires on all cylinders.
08:30 But our favorite moment that solidifies this sketch as an all-timer
08:33 is when Joker pulls a very distinct prank on Batman.
08:37 Let's just say that Joker's prank is really crappy.
08:40 "Ugh, smells like Batman forever."
08:43 (LAUGHING)
08:44 "Sucker!"
08:45 Maybe one day Batman and Joker will share a laugh over this.
08:49 It's unlikely, but hey, in the meantime, we're definitely having one.
08:52 Number three, 'Take Your Daughter to Work Day'.
08:55 "Gary, where is Jessica? Isn't today 'Take Your Daughter to Work Day'?"
08:59 "No one actually does that."
09:00 "Gary, you promised."
09:03 It's 'Take Your Daughter to Work Day' in the 'Star Wars' universe.
09:06 So Gary, the stormtrooper, shows his daughter Jessica a day in the life of his job.
09:10 And it's an eye-opening experience.
09:12 They get into blaster fights with rebels,
09:15 there are teddy bear rescues, and even cross paths with Vader and Obi-Wan.
09:19 "These aren't the droids you were looking for."
09:21 "These aren't the droids we're looking for."
09:22 "Yes, they are."
09:23 "Move along."
09:24 "Move along."
09:25 "Daddy, you're not even trying!"
09:27 It's dangerous, but honestly, this probably takes the cake
09:30 for the best 'Take Your Daughter to Work Day'.
09:33 What's cooler than getting to see Darth Vader?
09:35 "What have you done with those plans?"
09:38 "Gary here never sees his daughter because of people like you."
09:42 Robot Chicken really shines at showing relatively mundane things
09:46 happening in the world of 'Star Wars'.
09:47 Remember that one phone call the Emperor took?
09:50 "Just get me a turkey club."
09:52 "Uh, coleslaw, I guess. I'm not even going to eat it."
09:56 "What are you getting?"
09:58 "Ah, see, I always order the wrong thing."
10:01 This sketch is funny, inventive, and oddly heartwarming at times.
10:06 Gary just wants to be a better dad.
10:08 Number 2.
10:09 The Bitch Pudding Special.
10:11 "Dun-dun-dun!"
10:14 "Bitch pudding!"
10:15 "Bleah!"
10:16 It's not often that Robot Chicken dedicates an entire episode to one sketch.
10:20 So when we saw the Bitch Pudding Special,
10:23 we knew we'd be in for a real treat.
10:26 When the Pastryville residents are finally fed up with Bitch Pudding,
10:29 a parody of Strawberry Shortcake,
10:31 a plan's hatched to kill her.
10:33 "Neither rain nor sleet nor snow will keep your ass out of that volcano!"
10:37 On the one hand, this is an episode filled with vulgarity
10:40 that seriously makes the censors have to earn their paycheck.
10:44 On the other, the outlandishness of the whole thing makes it hysterical.
10:48 Plus, how could you not be entertained by the schlorps?
10:51 "So how about it, stranger? Tell us all about you!"
10:55 "Shut the f*** up!"
11:00 Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
11:04 Law & Order KFC.
11:06 The cases these detectives take on are clucking personal.
11:10 Villain Carpool.
11:22 Even bad guys aren't immune to traffic jams.
11:25 "That was a good one."
11:26 "Aaah!"
11:27 "What was a good... Oh!"
11:29 "Yeah!"
11:30 "Aaah! Oh!"
11:32 "It's burning my eyes!"
11:34 "Watering!"
11:35 "And knock the window!"
11:37 Our newest member, Calvin.
11:39 Making a good first impression is everything.
11:42 "I have a PhD, so we could be Dr. Killshot."
11:45 "Paging Dr. Killshot!"
11:46 "Pow!"
11:48 "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!"
11:49 "No! No!"
11:50 "Ha ha! Looks like someone had an accident."
11:54 "Way to go, fumbles!"
11:57 Anime Christmas.
11:59 Does this make Santa an anime character?
12:01 "This is the last time I bring presents to Japan."
12:04 God of War.
12:08 Robot Chicken PlayStation 4 Pro advertisement.
12:11 Kratos is bawling in this ad for the PlayStation 4 Pro.
12:16 "You sure you understand the rules now, Kratos?"
12:18 "Shut up, head! Let's do this!"
12:20 "Betray us!"
12:21 "Uh, yeah, you're supposed to put it through the hoop."
12:26 "But, uh, that was awesome."

12:42 Number one, inner monologues.
12:46 "Father!"
12:48 "Oh, man! Was I that whiny when I was a kid?"
12:52 "How come no one says wizard anymore?"
12:56 "Ahh!"
12:57 Ever wonder what the Emperor was thinking
12:58 when he was zapping Luke Skywalker nearly to death in Return of the Jedi?
13:02 How about Luke or even Darth Vader?
13:05 In this sketch, we get to see all of their inner monologues.
13:08 And, boy, it's a hoot.
13:09 "Man, I look right in the lightning.
13:11 Gosh, it's like looking into a laser pointer.
13:13 It's a completely different but equally painful type of pain.
13:17 I'm gonna be seeing spots for like an hour."
13:19 You'd expect their deepest, most personal thoughts at a time as crucial as this
13:23 to be ultra-serious and emotional.
13:26 But instead, it's just these hilarious sequences
13:28 like where the Emperor thinks Vader is trying to smooch him.
13:31 "Oh, my God. Is he... Is he gonna try and kiss me?"
13:34 "Is my dad gonna kiss the Emperor?"
13:37 "Oh, my God. This is happening. Stay away from me, you idiot!"
13:41 Or wild tangents from Vader about why the word "wizard" has gone away.
13:45 Add in Luke's description of how much pain he's in,
13:48 and you get a classic sketch.
13:50 This isn't just funny.
13:51 Here we say it's... wizard.
13:53 "That was pretty wizard, wasn't it, son?"
13:57 "What?"
13:58 "I'm bringing it back!"
14:00 Is there a funny sketch we missed?
14:02 Make sure to let us know in the comments.
14:04 "Guys, we got the boulder!"
