00:03 >> That is true, especially what Johnston had that drop, Craig,
00:06 that probably would have either won them the game or at least put them in field goal range
00:11 down at the end in that final drive.
00:13 You can tell and it's understandable.
00:15 He's feeling it there in LA because after last year,
00:19 Lou's blowing that playoff game now coming in this year,
00:22 changed the offensive coordinator.
00:24 You know, there's nowhere else to really turn except to himself.
00:29 >> Human beings on TV with a lot of pressure.
00:32 That's basically what it comes down to.
00:35 I mean, I think that in the end, and look, I think we all know,
00:38 I think we know where this is headed.
00:39 I don't think Staley's gonna make it.
00:43 Maybe till the end of the season he will,
00:44 but I think the Chargers probably look in another direction.
00:46 But when he looks back on that clip right there and remembers his tenure,
00:51 he'll probably remember some really good times and winning a lot of games,
00:54 but he's never gonna want to remember the fact that he said that I'm not here to talk to my fan base.
00:58 I mean, that's a rule number one.
01:01 The fans are paying to see your games in person and on television.
01:06 And even if you feel that way, you may want to just say something else.
01:10 The fan base is what makes the NFL the giant that it is.
01:14 We're all watching. We all care very much.
01:16 We're on shows like this doing it.
01:17 And I don't think that's going to be all that well received, unfortunately for him.
01:21 But like I said, human beings on TV, Mike, like, you know, you feel a tremendous amount of pressure.
01:25 Sometimes you have to let it go and he let it go.
01:28 I think he'll regret that one though.
