00:02 The story of two teams.
00:03 You've got the Eagles last year had all 22 starters
00:07 that they had in the lineup in week one against the Lions.
00:10 They had them all in the Super Bowl.
00:12 That's hard to do, and that's a big reason
00:14 why they got there, other than they were well-coached
00:15 and they performed well.
00:17 This year, they've had a lot of injuries.
00:18 Dallas got it at their start.
00:19 Tonight, we'll play tonight.
00:20 We've got that fractured forearm.
00:23 Though the word around the club is they may not put them on IR.
00:26 They may just let it heal, and he
00:28 might be back within the first four or five weeks
00:30 after being injured against Dallas two weeks ago.
00:32 But the big deal is just on defense.
00:34 They're going to get slot corner Bradley Robey back
00:37 from his shoulder injury, which he's kind of confirmed
00:39 that it's more pectoral.
00:41 And the bottom line is, Mike, they've
00:43 gone through seven or eight nickel defenders this season.
00:47 Avanti Maddox, they're starting nickel.
00:49 He's out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.
00:52 His backup, Zach McPherson, got hurt in training camp
00:54 with a torn Achilles.
00:56 They put guys in there, Mike, who've never played nickel
00:58 before in their life, never played really inside,
01:01 and it's been a problem.
01:02 Do you know the Eagles have given up the most production,
01:05 touchdowns, receptions, and yardage to wide receivers,
01:08 ranked 32nd against wide receivers.
01:11 So I know that the Chiefs receivers have been struggling.
01:13 There's no doubt.
01:14 But quarterbacks typically do well against the secondary.
01:17 But getting Bradley Robey back from his injury will be good.
01:20 And also, this one is also good for the Eagles.
01:22 Cam Juergens, their starting right tackle,
01:24 who did great before he suffered a foot injury,
01:26 he's back tonight.
01:27 He'll be in the lineup.
01:28 He was activated off of IR.
01:29 And again, the Chiefs are really healthy here.
01:31 So this should be a good matchup.
01:33 It looks like the rain, though, that
01:35 looked like it rained all night.
01:36 Right now, it looks like the first half, the second half,
01:38 it could slow down a little bit.
01:39 But we'll see with the weather here, Mike,
01:41 with the rain, you never know.
01:42 Yeah, and I think people are expecting, Adam,
01:45 a lot of points tonight, which I get.
01:47 They played a 38-35 Super Bowl 11 months ago.
01:51 But I'm not so sure about that, Adam,
01:53 especially since I think the Chiefs team this year,
01:57 the defense has been their rock, not Patrick Mahomes
01:59 and the offense.
02:00 The defense has been the Chiefs' rock.
02:02 I think that game might go under tonight.
02:04 In fact, Steve Spagnuolo, a former defense coordinator
02:07 for the Eagles, who was the coordinator for the Chiefs
02:10 Randy Reid brought over, look at the job
02:12 they've done with that young secondary.
02:14 Arguably the NFL's best, the stingiest,
02:16 just under 17 points a game, which is amazing.
02:19 You're right, Mike.
02:20 You know, 45 and 1/2 is the total.
02:22 I'd see it around the mid 40s.
02:24 I think that's actually pretty accurate from Vegas.
02:26 If I had to lean one way, I'm with you.
02:28 I think that the under would be the look.
02:31 And look, the Eagles are also, by the way, a 2.5 point dog.
02:34 This is an incredible stat.
02:35 Nick Sirianni, best road record in the National Football League,
02:38 17 and 5 since the beginning of the '21 season.
02:43 That's hard to believe for a new coach, Mike.
02:45 That's incredible.
