00:00 In retrospect, was the success, do you think, of the Giants last year, in the first year
00:06 of Joe Shane/Brian Dable's era, a blessing or a curse?
00:09 I think it's always good to have success.
00:11 I don't think you ever have success as a curse.
00:15 I think they had a good squad, put together a good team.
00:19 They learned how to play together.
00:20 They learned how to win together.
00:22 And that's important.
00:23 That's important for this squad to have.
00:25 They signed a bunch of the key players back this year, and so they're creating a great
00:31 nucleus of players, of leaders on this team, and guys that believe in each other, that
00:36 believe in what they're doing.
00:37 They believe in the coaching staff.
00:39 The coaching staff believes in the players.
00:40 And when you have all that coming together, it gives you a greater chance for success.
00:45 It doesn't make it automatically.
00:47 You deal with injuries, you deal with losing close games, and that's just part of football,
00:52 unfortunately.
00:53 But I still think they have a great crew, a great staff, great players that are going
00:59 to bounce back from this.
01:01 And if they can stay together, can put some winning teams in playoff teams.
01:07 And once you make playoffs, who knows what can happen.
