00:00 The State of Calamity has placed the Northern Samar under the threat of a shear line.

00:07 One of the most affected areas is the town of Katarman.

00:12 A shear line that is constantly being poured by the rain.

00:16 The only thing left are the rocks in the narrow streets of Katarman, Northern Samar.

00:22 Pieces of wood and styrofoam are used by their residents so that they won't drown in the water.

00:30 Some of the residents are still living in the neighborhood where the housing is higher.

00:35 In the surrounding area of our barangay, there are several people who are drowning.

00:41 In our area, there are only a few people who are drowning.

00:49 In other places, rescue operations are being carried out because of the strong water level.

00:55 The drone shots show the extent of flooding in the town of Las Navas.

01:01 There are almost no roads to be seen from Himpapawid.

01:05 In the barangay San Lorenzo in the town of Rosario, the roads are flooded.

01:11 Hundreds of families have been evacuated in Northern Samar.

01:15 A rubber boat is being used to rescue the affected residents in the town of Lope de Vega.

01:21 The State of Calamity has already declared a state of emergency in Northern Samar.

01:25 This is the worst flood in the history of our town.

01:29 This has surpassed the highest and strongest flood in 2019 due to the Baipon, Pizoy.

01:40 According to the weather forecast, the rainfall is estimated to be 460 mm in the town of Catarman every month of November.

01:49 But yesterday, the rainfall was 618 mm and it poured within 24 hours.

01:57 In the town of Hipapad, Eastern Samar, even the roof was evacuated.

02:02 The house was flooded and the roof was damaged.

02:07 According to Super Radio DZW, the chief of PDRRMO Western Samar, three barangays were flooded.
