00:03 - Okay, so Ohio State, Michigan.
00:04 Michigan is favorites in the game.
00:06 We don't see this that often, 3 1/2 point favorites.
00:08 I believe, if I'm not mistaken, you tell me,
00:10 I think this opened a little bit higher,
00:11 it's come back down.
00:13 Total at 46 1/2 in the game.
00:17 All right, Bill, here you go.
00:18 Who wins and will the loser be in the playoff?
00:22 - And that over-under's so interesting
00:24 because right now I have the final score
00:26 at Ohio State 22, Michigan 17
00:29 with the understanding it could go either way
00:31 based on one turnover.
00:33 Literally one turnover could decide this game.
00:35 These defenses are so good, so sound.
00:38 You're right, Michigan opened as a four-point favorite.
00:41 It's ticked down a half point.
00:42 And this is a rare occasion,
00:44 not only where they are the favorite,
00:46 haven't been the favorite since 2018,
00:48 they haven't beat a ranked Ohio State team as a favorite.
00:52 You have to go all the way back to 2003
00:55 when Chris Perry was on the field for Michigan.
00:58 So this is a big spot for the Wolverines.
01:00 I think the ramifications for the loser will be huge.
01:03 As far as in-game, Ohio State's been so balanced
01:07 since Travion Henderson returned.
01:09 They have nearly a 50/50 run-pass ratio
01:11 the last two weeks,
01:13 whereas Michigan is running the ball around 75% of the time
01:17 the last two games with Sharon Moore.
01:19 The Wolverines will need more balance.
01:21 If the Buckeyes are balanced like I think they will be,
01:24 I think they go to Ann Arbor
01:25 and they put up a big dub in a close game.
01:29 - Wow, that would be incredible.
01:31 And so let's play this out here
01:33 before we get to the next game.
01:34 Let's say that is the case
01:36 and Ohio State wins by less than a touchdown.
01:40 What happens then at that point?
01:42 Does the playoff committee get together
01:44 and go like, wink, wink, let's push Michigan out?
01:46 - Probably.
01:48 I mean, I don't know if they'll wink at each other,
01:50 but they might.
01:51 And I think the Wolverines, the fallout will be tremendous
01:56 because then all of these things
01:58 we've been writing about for the past month,
02:00 the in-person scouting, the sign stealing,
02:03 the future of Jim Harbaugh, the NCAA investigation,
02:06 that weight becomes significantly larger
02:09 if they lose this game.
02:10 If they win, they can kind of let it ride,
02:12 go to the Big Ten Championship game,
02:14 play a fist fight with Iowa and go from there.
02:16 But I'd think the loser of this game,
02:18 rather it's Michigan or Ohio State,
02:20 because we've run out of wiggle room with chaos, right?
02:24 The Pac-12 teams are winning.
02:25 Texas is winning.
02:26 Florida State's winning.
02:28 So I don't think the Big Ten loser of this game
02:31 will get into the college football playoff.
02:32 I think they'll end up in the Orange Bowl.
