00:00 Due to heavy rains and heavy floods in Northern Samar,

00:04 the local government of the province has already buried the state of calamity.

00:09 According to Governor Edwin Ong Chuan,

00:12 based on the recommendation of the PDRRMO,

00:16 the flooding of some farms and houses has already caused damage.

00:20 In the last record, almost 24,000 families have been evacuated from the province due to heavy floods.

00:27 The Philippine Coast Guard also helped in evacuating five barangays in the town of Katarman.

00:33 According to the Office of Civil Defense,

00:35 in Region 8, two people have been reported dead in the region due to the heavy rains and landslides.
