00:10 The event will be attended by various countries from the Asia-Pacific region.

00:15 Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri said the APPF will focus on politics, security, economic

00:21 and trade, and regional cooperation.

00:24 The ongoing issue in the South China Sea is also up for discussion, Zubiri said.

00:34 We're trying to promote peace and stability and we'd like to make that the theme, the

00:44 And so we don't want the Philippines to be in a battle mode right away.
