00:11 And today I'm reviewing a bunch of new stuff from Alphalete.
00:14 I have one of the Halo sets, one of the Aero sets,
00:17 and their new Identity joggers.
00:20 I've definitely heard some mixed things
00:21 in terms of this collection, in terms of sizing,
00:24 in terms of how much people like it.
00:26 I've even seen like a surprising number of screenshots
00:29 of people whose Alphalete leggings have ripped
00:31 just after one wear.
00:32 So yeah, that's definitely interesting
00:34 'cause usually when I buy $64 leggings,
00:36 I expect them not to rip.
00:38 I feel like I'm a little like here and there with Alphalete.
00:41 Like the last stuff I reviewed from them
00:43 was their Surface collection,
00:44 which I just didn't really think was anything special,
00:46 so I didn't keep it.
00:47 I did review their Revival collection before
00:49 and I actually did really like their Revival leggings.
00:51 I found them very unique.
00:52 Okay, you know if you hear something in the back,
00:54 it's Peach playing with the wrapping.
00:56 Some of their items online, I just figured out,
00:58 did say like they may run a little small
01:00 or may run a little big.
01:02 I just got all my normal size,
01:03 so we're gonna hope that that works out.
01:05 Also, they are having their Black Friday sale coming up.

01:17 All right, without further ado, let us begin.
01:19 So I'm gonna start this review off with the Aero leggings.
01:22 I thought that these looked like the cutest
01:23 out of all their new leggings
01:25 because I thought I liked like the little design,
01:27 but just open these up and like,
01:28 does this not look really weird?
01:30 I don't know, just due to the heavy contour detailing,
01:32 like the legs are all bent out, all funny.
01:35 I don't know, like it's probably not gonna impact
01:36 like the shape of the leggings or anything,
01:38 but I just thought it was weird.
01:39 So I got these in the rose pink in a size small
01:42 and they were $64.
01:44 So these are made of the same polyelastane material
01:47 listed on the website.
01:48 It doesn't give like the exact amounts,
01:50 so I don't know if it's actually different
01:52 from like the Revivals or the Halo leggings,
01:54 but I'm pretty sure the Revivals and the Halos
01:57 are the exact same fabric
01:58 and they do advertise the Aero leggings
02:00 as slightly different.
02:01 So it says on their website that functionally,
02:04 the Aero leggings allow for more breathability.
02:07 That's probably just because of like these little,
02:09 I don't know, mesh insert details.
02:11 It also says that they're not as soft, stretchy,
02:14 and high-waisted as the Revival or the Halo leggings,
02:17 but they tried to cover their butts there
02:18 and say that they were still soft,
02:20 you know, high-waisted and stretchy,
02:22 but less so than the Halo or the Revivals.
02:25 So they definitely advertise these
02:26 as more of a compression legging than the other ones.
02:29 It also says that it's true to size in most cases,
02:33 but that if you're in between, you should size up.
02:35 I feel like I'm pretty universally a small,
02:38 so I'm kind of hoping these still fit.
02:40 They do look kind of small in some areas.
02:42 So compared to the Sports Bra,
02:44 the legging fabric definitely feels a little bit thicker
02:46 and a little bit less soft,
02:47 but it's actually still pretty soft.
02:49 The waistband on Alphalete leggings
02:50 is basically always seamless
02:51 and I really like how they embroider their logo
02:54 into the fabric, so you don't have to worry about it
02:56 like peeling off or anything.
02:57 So this is the fabric.
02:58 It's basically just a super thick knit material.
03:01 Feels a lot like the Revivals actually,
03:03 but it definitely looks like a little more opaque
03:04 than the Revivals,
03:06 and I do see how it could have more compression.
03:08 It also has ribbed detailing along here,
03:10 and then this like super scrunched section of the legging.
03:14 It's actually just due to this like kind of fishnet,
03:16 I don't know, breathability thing.
03:18 So I don't love them.
03:21 Okay, so first of all,
03:22 it's just like really hugging my crotch.
03:25 Like this is just kind of where they naturally
03:27 wanna be on my body in terms of like at the waist,
03:30 and like the booty contour is under my butt at this point,
03:33 which does make my butt look nice, side note.
03:35 But I kind of noticed this on my Revivals as well,
03:39 that like the fabric just really wants to like come up here,
03:42 and I don't know if they need to like do something
03:44 with their gusset crotch or something,
03:46 but like I feel like this can be fixed.
03:48 The front seam actually isn't creating
03:50 like a double camel situation,
03:52 but I just feel like I'd be uncomfortable wearing these
03:54 'cause they're just drawing a lot of attention
03:57 to this region.
03:58 In terms of the waist,
03:59 the waist does feel pretty good, decently compressive.
04:02 I could do just a tad bit higher.
04:04 Sometimes I like when it's just like over my belly button,
04:07 but when I do that, it's like major camel issues,
04:09 so it's just gotta be here.
04:11 I would say medium to high compression,
04:13 but they're not like totally wild compression.
04:16 I think the most area of compression is right below the butt
04:19 where they have that ribbed detailing,
04:21 and just kind of around where this peach.
04:24 I think where they have the most compression
04:26 is around the ribbed detailing right here,
04:29 and with just all of this detailing,
04:30 just really sucks you in right underneath your butt,
04:33 so that does contribute to making your butt look nice.
04:36 So I would give these maybe even a high on the booty scale.
04:39 I feel like my butt looks pretty nice.
04:41 The rest of the legging aren't like the most compressive,
04:44 so I don't feel like it's squishing my butt down,
04:46 but it definitely sucks it in underneath.
04:48 I think you'd be pretty good on cellulite with these,
04:50 because they do have that little compressive region
04:52 right below your butt,
04:53 and the fabric itself is actually pretty thick and dense.
04:56 A fabric like this really shouldn't collect any lint or pill.
04:59 I haven't had it collect any lint so far.
05:02 My Revivals didn't really collect any lint,
05:04 so I think you're good on that as well.
05:06 The leggings are a full length on me.
05:08 I mean, this is actually even folded under a little bit,
05:10 so if you're tall, you're totally good with this.
05:12 I would say that this booty seam
05:14 could be a little bit higher.
05:16 I just feel like it falls a little low on me.
05:19 I don't wanna pull it up too much more,
05:20 because then I feel like the booty contour
05:22 will be out of place.
05:24 But I feel like a lot of the models really hike them up,
05:27 and then the booty contour is in the middle of their butt,
05:29 which that isn't any better
05:30 than the booty contour being below your butt.
05:32 It should just be here, and the waist should be higher.
05:35 End of story.
05:36 I would say these are true to size.
05:38 If I sized up more, I would get more crotch gathering,
05:41 and if I sized down, then I wouldn't be able to get 'em on.
05:44 So I still would say true to size.
05:45 I feel like this fabric is pretty sweatproof.
05:47 I'm never a good one to judge with sweatproof,
05:49 because I don't do a lot of cardio,
05:51 so I don't really pile up the sweat, you know?
05:54 Okay, so that's it for these.
05:55 I'm kinda mixed.
05:56 I think that they're cute in some aspects,
05:58 but the booty just could be a little higher for me,
06:00 and I don't like all this crotch gathering,
06:02 so I think I'm probably gonna return these.

06:07 Next, we have the Aero Bra.
06:10 I got this in the same rose pink color,
06:12 and size small, and this was $40.
06:14 $40 is pretty high for a sports bra.
06:16 I can get two pairs of leggings for that in some places,
06:19 so you are investing.
06:21 And it doesn't say anything about the fabric
06:23 being more compressive for the sports bra,
06:25 but this fabric honestly feels really, really soft.
06:27 I also didn't read this one before purchasing.
06:29 It said to size down for higher support,
06:31 and that it runs a little big,
06:33 and I got my regular size small,
06:35 so I felt like my Revival Vault Bra from before
06:39 actually was a little big.
06:40 I feel like I'm on the bigger side
06:42 of a size small sports bra,
06:43 because I do have a bigger cup size,
06:45 but it was still big on me.
06:46 I'm a little nervous about this one too.
06:47 I feel like it's gonna be too big.
06:49 It also just kind of looks weird on the model,
06:51 on the website.
06:52 I don't know what it is.
06:53 Like, it's not the model.
06:54 It's just something weird about the sports bra,
06:57 so I hope I like it.
06:59 I'll show you a closeup of the fabric.
07:00 So the fabric is a marled material,
07:02 but it's almost brushed.
07:03 I don't know if you can see any of that,
07:05 but it's actually super soft, and really stretchy too.
07:08 There's a lot of ribbed detailing to the sports bra,
07:10 so this ribbed detailing kind of matches
07:12 the contour of the leggings,
07:13 and then it has the same like mesh detail
07:16 that the leggings have as well.
07:17 In the back is a classic racer back with a little cutout.
07:20 So yeah, this bra runs huge.
07:23 I'm really not a fan.
07:24 I feel like I look like my boobs are sagging,
07:26 which I am 22 years old,
07:28 and like that's not the case, all right?
07:30 So the pads, the pads are very visible.
07:33 I don't actually know if you can see on camera,
07:35 but looking in my mirror, I'm like, hello, there they are.
07:39 I found that with the pads on the last Revival
07:42 sports bra I had, it just like,
07:43 they were just not good pads.
07:45 Peach, she's having such a good time.
07:47 So I'm not even gonna do the jump test of this sports bra
07:49 because it has zero support in the current size that I'm in.
07:53 Definitely could have sized down to extra small,
07:55 but like I just don't feel like I'm an extra small
07:57 in sports bras, people.
07:58 Like I'm like a 32 triple D, I should not be an extra small.
08:02 So I feel like they need to fix their sizing.
08:04 Like, 'cause what are the extra small people supposed to do?
08:07 Not wear one?
08:08 It might come in extra extra small, but still.
08:10 So yeah, the fabric is really soft,
08:12 and it feels nice.
08:13 It just like really offers no support.
08:15 You saw the details before, they have the ribbed detail,
08:18 they have the mesh detail,
08:19 they have a band at the bottom that is quite loose.
08:22 And then they have the open keyhole in the back.
08:25 There's not like a ton of details in the back.
08:27 So yeah, it's kind of it.
08:28 I'm not a huge fan of the sports bra.
08:29 Next we have the Halo leggings.
08:31 These are supposed to be more similar
08:33 to the Revival leggings,
08:34 but honestly I don't remember the Revival leggings
08:36 being this soft.
08:37 This feels very similar to the fabric
08:39 of the Aero sports bra.
08:40 Like it feels like the thick knit material,
08:42 but it almost has a brushed feel.
08:44 Like I'm like honestly really impressed with this fabric.
08:46 I also got my size small in this one,
08:48 and it was also $64.
08:49 Basically these look almost exactly
08:51 like the Revivals to me.
08:52 They just have some slight different detailing.
08:55 The waistband is very similar.
08:56 It's that thick double thickness seamless waistband.
08:59 Embroidered logo into the back.
09:01 Then they have the waistband sewn along here.
09:03 They have both a front and a back seam.
09:06 I mixed that up, you know what I'm saying?
09:07 And then just like some different kind of contour detailing
09:09 down the legs.
09:10 The Revivals have paneling that went
09:12 all the way down the legs.
09:13 These have a thick ribbed almost booty contour detailing,
09:16 and then some side paneling like down the butt
09:19 and everything.
09:19 It's different than the Revivals,
09:21 but it still like reminds me of the Revivals.
09:24 So here's the back.
09:25 You can see there's kind of this booty contour
09:27 ribbed detailing,
09:28 and then we go into the ribbed detailing of the leg.
09:31 It just is different than the Revivals.
09:33 It almost feels like this fabric
09:34 is a little more lightweight and softer than the Revivals.
09:37 I feel like I'll be getting less compression
09:39 with these than the Revivals,
09:40 but honestly that's fine with me.
09:42 The Revivals were unique.
09:43 They're very, very stretchy,
09:44 but also a little bit compressive.
09:46 I don't know, I've really just never found
09:47 a pair of leggings like the Revivals.
09:49 But again, we got some complaints
09:50 about people having these rip.
09:52 I don't notice any issues with any of the seams
09:55 or anything at this moment.
09:57 Usually you can kind of tell right away.
09:59 I'll just show you the crotch seams right now.
10:01 They look pretty intact.
10:02 I don't see any loose strings or anything coming out.
10:04 So for me, so far, they're okay.
10:07 They do say that they're semi-sheer at full stretch.
10:11 So that's just their roundabout way of saying
10:12 that they're not entirely squat-proof in light colors.
10:15 I found my Revival leggings to be totally fine.
10:19 Usually when they have a seam in the middle of the back,
10:21 it kind of helps so that you don't see so much crackage.
10:24 But we know we will be doing squat tests.
10:26 Always do squat tests.

10:30 because that's not even me anymore.
10:32 Okay, so I actually do like these a lot.
10:36 I'm just still kind of having the same crotch issue.
10:40 I just feel like it's really accentuating.
10:44 So I'm not sure that's something
10:45 that I can really get over in this case.
10:48 With a seamless legging, usually it's okay with me,
10:50 but this front seam just makes it so much worse.
10:53 Like it's not even dividing anything.
10:55 It's just like brings more attention
10:56 to the fact that it's so gathered here.
10:58 That is really quite a bummer because these are so soft.
11:02 They have that super, super stretchy fabric.
11:04 So yeah, the fabric is super soft.
11:06 I would say even stretchier and softer than the Revivals.
11:09 I do already have a few little,
11:11 like of these little stringy guys coming off,
11:13 but maybe you can see it on my nail.
11:16 There's like that little stringy guy.
11:18 I have a few of those,
11:19 which I don't like to see that on really expensive leggings.
11:21 The waist is about the same height.
11:23 I think that they can probably just raise the waistbands
11:26 all a little bit more
11:27 because these are like borderline coming onto my butt.
11:32 Like I would like them to just be a little bit higher
11:34 and by them I mean the seam
11:36 that connects the waistband to the legging.
11:37 I just overall think that these leggings
11:39 are a little bit basic.
11:40 The only detailing is really
11:42 this like side contour panel detailing
11:44 and it's not even that much.
11:46 I do have like a few little fuzzies coming off of me too.
11:48 It's interesting.
11:49 These are also a full length.
11:50 Excuse my fuzzy socks.
11:51 My toes started going numb
11:52 'cause it's a little bit cold in here.
11:54 I don't know, my toes just tend to go numb.
11:56 These are definitely true to size.
11:57 I could not size up or down.
11:58 They're perfect in my size small.
12:00 These I would say are still pretty cellulite friendly
12:02 because they do have the paneling detailing
12:05 all under the butt
12:06 and that really just helps kind of distract
12:07 from the cellulite.
12:08 They're also still pretty thick
12:10 although they are thinner than the Aero leggings.
12:12 Again, I just feel like they're really helping my booty out.
12:15 I'll give these a medium to high on the booty scale
12:17 but I do think I really like this neutral
12:19 like stormy gray color.
12:21 Very cute.
12:22 I have to say I'm kind of surprised
12:23 that these would rip on people
12:24 because they just feel so, so stretchy
12:26 that like, I don't know,
12:28 I feel no tightness in the crotch at all.
12:30 Like I can stretch like this
12:32 and I do not feel any restriction in any way.
12:35 So that just, I don't know,
12:37 maybe that's a stitching thing
12:38 but these do feel like very good leggings
12:40 for if you are stretching a lot
12:42 and like having a lot of movement.
12:44 Next, I got the Vault bra to match the Halo leggings.
12:51 I also got this in a size small
12:53 and it was $40 just like the Aero bra.
12:55 This is the same bra that I had with my Revivals previously.
12:58 It wasn't my favorite
13:01 but at least it matches the leggings.
13:03 This definitely has the same paneling as the Revivals.
13:06 It's not the same paneling as the Aero leggings
13:08 but I don't feel like it'll look like really weird.
13:11 It does feel slightly less soft than the Aero leggings
13:13 just because the Aero leggings are really, really soft.
13:15 Sorry, I keep saying Aero but I mean Halo.
13:18 Very close words.
13:19 They shouldn't do that.
13:19 That confuses me.
13:20 They claim medium to high impact for these.
13:23 I don't really trust when they say high support
13:24 on a sports bra that doesn't have like
13:26 an adjustable back clasp or like built-in cup padding.
13:29 So I'm gonna guess a medium.
13:31 I haven't worn mine in a while to be honest.
13:32 Okay, here is the Vault bra.
13:35 This actually is fitting me better
13:36 than the last time I had the Vault bra
13:38 in the red color with my Revivals.
13:40 Before I was having a lot of gaping up here
13:43 but in this one it actually is fitting pretty well.
13:45 I just, I don't like how you can see the pads.
13:47 You can just clearly see a circular outline of the pads.
13:50 Like just build the pads into the bra people.
13:53 I don't get it.
13:53 The band fits me pretty well.
13:55 This is a size small.
13:56 So the last one was also a size small
13:58 but it just like obviously was running really, really big.
14:00 It has a gradient panel detailing
14:02 going from a little more concentrated up here
14:04 to completely stopping just mid-boob.
14:07 I don't like how it stops mid-boob
14:09 because I don't know, it just like,
14:11 yeah, they get a little more spaced out
14:13 but all of a sudden it's just like stop, mid-nipple.
14:16 I don't know.
14:17 I just feel like it could have continued on.
14:19 The back crisscrosses so it's actually pretty good
14:21 in terms of not falling down.
14:23 I remember not liking this bra very much in the past.
14:25 It was actually, actually I'm kind of neutral on it
14:28 at this point, like it's pretty good.
14:29 It's still a solid medium support.
14:31 I don't feel like I'm getting a super amount of compression
14:34 to where I would call it high support.
14:35 Next, I'm super excited about these.
14:37 These are the women's identity joggers.
14:39 I got them in the color storm.
14:41 I also got them in a size small.
14:42 I've been kind of moving towards a size small jogger
14:44 just 'cause I think that they look like more fitted
14:46 and everything.
14:47 I don't tend to wear joggers like this just around the house
14:49 because peach tends to destroy any clothes
14:52 that I wear on my lower half of my body.
14:54 So these are too expensive to ruin, you know.
14:56 These were $62 and they really did advertise these
15:00 as the best joggers ever.
15:01 They are the softest joggers ever, blah, blah, blah.
15:05 They just were like, these are the best.
15:07 And to be honest, they looked really soft
15:09 and they do have a brushed texture,
15:11 but there's something about the fabric that I don't love.
15:14 Maybe when I put them on it'll be different,
15:16 but I still think the softest joggers I've ever felt
15:18 were my Buffbunny Jasmine joggers.
15:21 Specifically in the color salsa.
15:23 I don't know what it was about that one.
15:24 That's like the bright red one,
15:25 it had the most buttery soft fabric ever
15:28 and it was just super stretchy.
15:29 And this just feels like slightly more stiff to me.
15:32 They just have a classic waistband, a little drawstring.
15:37 And there's not so much in terms of details to them.
15:39 Like they're pretty basic jogger.
15:42 So I don't know if I would spend $60 on them.
15:45 But again, I'm just talking, let's try them on.
15:47 I just, I don't really like these either.
15:49 What is going on?
15:50 I thought I would fall in love with these
15:52 and just like wanna keep them so badly.
15:54 I just do not think that they're that special.
15:56 Yeah, they're like a little bit brushed.
15:58 I'll show you a quick closeup.
15:59 Yeah, so like they're a little bit brushed,
16:01 but like not as much as I would think.
16:04 They kind of feel like champion sweatpants.
16:06 Like they're that, you know that kind of like
16:08 thick cottony material?
16:09 Like these are super, super thick.
16:11 So they would be nice and warm.
16:12 The waist is nice, it does come up pretty high.
16:15 And because of the drawstring, you can snatch it decently.
16:17 They have the pockets.
16:18 There's a little bit of seam detailing,
16:20 but it's like really not much.
16:21 It's just kind of the direction of the seams.
16:23 There's not really any detailing in the back.
16:25 So I don't really feel like it's helping my butt out really.
16:28 I do like the little logo on the bottom.
16:29 It's like a little rubberized Alphalete logo.
16:32 They do always have very good high quality logos.
16:34 I don't know, these are not the best joggers I've tried,
16:36 guys.
16:37 There was so much hype about these joggers
16:38 and I really wanted to love them,
16:40 but I just really don't.
16:42 I kind of just feel like I'm wearing cheap joggers
16:44 and they were like $60.
16:45 Guys, I'm not a fan.
16:47 So that is it for my review.
16:48 Peach really appreciated the packaging.
16:50 So it's a 10 out of 10 for her, isn't it?
16:53 So if you're not bothered by the crotch gathering,
16:55 I think I would recommend the Halo leggings.
16:58 I just thought those were really, really stretchy and soft.
17:00 The Arrow leggings were still just really a no for me.
17:02 They weren't my favorite,
17:03 even though I really liked the detailing they had.
17:05 And the joggers,
17:06 I heard that these were like incredible joggers
17:09 and maybe it's an unpopular opinion.
17:11 I know that some people really do like them,
17:14 but I just didn't find them to be anything special.
17:16 So in terms of Black Friday, even if they were on sale,
17:19 I don't know how much they're gonna be on sale.
17:20 I don't know if I'd go for these.
17:23 I do like the sports bra more than I did last time.
17:26 This might be my last review for a while, guys,
17:28 because I'm about to enter into a three-week final period
17:31 where I have 13 exams.
17:34 So while I would love to be able to sit down
17:36 and film a video,
17:37 I just don't know if I will be able to.
17:39 I probably will still post an occasional vlog
17:41 because that doesn't require me
17:43 setting up the whole filming situation and doing that.
17:46 But I hope you guys understand.
