02:13 I already feel like I'm a pretty productive person,

02:17 and I felt like there were a lot of helpful tips

02:22 I had a 300 page book I had to read in undergrad
02:25 and I just didn't feel like reading it.
02:27 So I actually just got it on Audible
02:29 and listened to it walking between classes and at the gym.
02:32 So again, I could like multitask and got the book done
02:34 without having to sit down and read it.
02:36 Something I also didn't know,
02:37 I thought they were just audio books,

03:34 All right, so I feel like I have to address the Alphalete T
03:37 before we get into this review.
03:38 So there's been a ton of stuff going on
03:40 with their shipping from the Black Friday sale
03:43 and the customer service
03:44 and I've had people tell me,
03:45 like I'm never buying from Alphalete again, blah, blah, blah.
03:47 Like there's just a lot going on.
03:49 For some people, I think it took around two months
03:51 to get their Black Friday order,
03:52 so it came like way past Christmas time
03:54 and a lot of people weren't hearing back
03:56 from customer service for a week or more at a time.
03:59 Honestly, I ordered from their Black Friday sale
04:01 and I didn't have a single problem,
04:02 so I can't really contribute my own personal issues to this.
04:05 I just wanted to mention it
04:06 because it is something a lot of other people
04:07 had issues with.
04:08 Alphalete is too big of a company
04:10 to ignore all these issues.
04:12 They don't want people to stop buying,
04:13 so I really think that they're going to fix these problems.
04:15 I got my order super quick from this launch.
04:17 I did work out in the Alphalux set this morning,
04:20 so spoiler alert, really liked the leggings.
04:23 I'm not too good on the sports bra.
04:24 And I don't know if I've had another brand
04:26 that I've gotten more messages about
04:27 of people having holes in the crotch,
04:29 and I got the updated Halo leggings
04:31 that have improved crotch seams,
04:33 so they know that they ripped.
04:34 Mine didn't rip, but I also didn't keep them, so.
04:37 I also got the men's and women's joggers
04:40 because sometimes the women's joggers sell out quick,
04:42 so I'm gonna see if we can pull off the men's joggers.
04:45 Anyways, it's finally time to get into the Alphalux.
04:48 Peach did not really like the Alphalux set
04:50 because I wouldn't pick her up in it
04:52 because it just collects pet hair like nothing else.
04:55 So Peach's review is zero stars.
04:57 Can you see her little tooth?
04:59 Oh, oh, Peach.
05:01 She's trying to vlog.
05:02 Let's start out with the Alphalux leggings.
05:04 I would say that I'm super excited about these,
05:06 but I already wore them, and I'm really impressed.
05:08 So these were $68, so they're on the expensive side,
05:12 but I do think that they are good quality.
05:14 I got a size small and did find that they were true to size,
05:17 so they are saying that these are their softest leggings
05:19 ever brushed on the inside and outside.
05:21 So brushed basically just means
05:23 it kind of has a slight fuzziness to it,
05:26 and basically just think Lululemon online fabric,
05:29 which is called Nulu.
05:30 Think of that.
05:31 This is what the fabric looks like.
05:32 You can see the slight brush texture.
05:34 A little bit fuzzy, but I still feel like
05:35 it did hold up really well.
05:37 Apparently these are the highest spandex percentage
05:39 out of any of their leggings,
05:40 and I do have to say I feel like this is true.
05:42 They definitely felt stretchier
05:43 than the Surface Path leggings.
05:45 Those I felt like were a little more constructive.
05:47 These you can stretch any way you want,
05:49 and they were super free-moving.
05:51 They claim to have sweat-wicking technology.
05:54 They do show sweat, so some quick details.
05:57 They do have a seamless waistband.
05:58 They do have a front seam,
05:59 so there was some risk for camel toe,
06:01 but I really didn't experience any.
06:03 They do have kind of narrow side pockets,
06:05 so I'll see if I can fit my phone in there,
06:06 but it's pretty small.
06:07 They do have really flattering booty seams on the back,
06:10 and they are a full-length legging.
06:11 And something that I've always loved about Alphalete
06:13 is their logos are super high quality.
06:15 So they have the rubberized Alphalete logo,
06:18 and then they also have a shiny little
06:20 Alphalux also rubberized logo.
06:22 These logos are super good quality,
06:24 and they will not peel off or anything,
06:26 so definitely like that.
06:28 All right, now we're gonna talk
06:29 about the Elite sports bra really quick,
06:30 and then I will insert my gym try-on.
06:32 Here is the Alphalete Elite sports bra in raspberry.
06:35 This sports bra is $46,
06:37 and I got it in my normal size small.
06:39 So I was a little bummed when I went to the website.
06:41 I kind of thought they would have all of the sports bras
06:43 in all of the colors,
06:44 but the Elite sports bra only comes
06:46 in the raspberry and black,
06:47 and the Try Back sports bra comes in the blue
06:50 and like the raven color.
06:52 So if you are looking for a specific sports bra,
06:54 you are limited to colors.
06:56 I also got the other sports bra,
06:57 so I will try that on soon.
06:58 But I was bummed at first,
07:00 'cause I thought this one would have a lot more support
07:01 and be like, I don't know, better.
07:03 But on the website, it says this bra is a medium impact,
07:06 which might be true if you have a smaller chest,
07:09 but I was not getting any support.
07:11 I was very upset.
07:12 We'll get into this in the try on,
07:13 but don't be deceived.
07:14 This does not have as much coverage or support
07:17 as it may seem.
07:18 It does have a scoop neck and removable cup pads,
07:21 and the back is just a classic tank style
07:23 with kind of a little crisscross butterfly-ish style detail.
07:26 These straps do have a matching kind of mesh detail,
07:30 so it is very breathable.
07:32 Okay, now for the gym test.
07:33 Can I just say that this is annoying,
07:35 that I can't remove this tag if I want to return the item,
07:37 because it's gonna be so uncomfortable
07:39 to try this on or actually get an idea of how it feels
07:43 if I can't remove the tag.
07:45 Usually they have the tags with the little safety pins,
07:48 so it's easy, but seriously,
07:50 and they have this one, which I also hate this,
07:52 which you also have to remove.
07:54 So I just wanna try it on to see if it's comfortable.
07:56 Is that too much to ask?
07:57 All right, I got the set on.
07:59 Still a little bit upset about the tag situation,
08:01 because even now I have this super uncomfortable
08:05 little paper tag that I would like to try it on
08:09 without this, but that's not possible.
08:11 So I wish they would fix their tags.
08:13 Also, I have not once had a sports bra from Alphalete
08:15 that I really like, and this one is no exception.
08:18 We got some side boob spillage, just a lot of cleavage,
08:21 and it just doesn't have a lot of room for boobs in general.
08:24 Hope this isn't controversial.
08:26 I feel like all of the Alphalete athletes
08:28 either have no boobs or giant fake boobs,
08:32 and it's like, sometimes people with real boobs
08:34 wanna wear bras, and when you only have those type
08:37 of people doing reviews, it doesn't really help
08:39 because they just don't work the same
08:42 as like bigger regular boobs.
08:44 All right, that's over.
08:45 The back of the sports bra is cute.
08:48 It's not quite as supportive as I thought.
08:50 The leggings are super soft and really comfortable.
08:52 Minimal to no camel, so that's an issue.
08:55 But I literally just put these on.
08:57 I already have cat fur, and I have little fuzzies
09:00 coming off yet again.
09:02 There it is.
09:03 So yeah, do not go anywhere near your animals in these,
09:05 because I haven't even gone near Peach
09:07 if I already have fur on this.
09:09 All right, since I apparently have to keep these,
09:11 I might as well take off this little tag in here
09:13 and go to the gym.

09:17 Okay, I'm back from the gym,
09:23 and she really wants me to pick her up,
09:25 but I can't because I will get all of her fur
09:29 all over the leggings.
09:31 All right, so quick post-gym first impression
09:34 review situation.
09:35 I love the leggings.
09:37 They stay up perfectly.
09:39 They seriously hug your body in the nicest ways,
09:42 have about a medium compression,
09:43 and just a really good amount of hold,
09:45 and I really have almost no complaints about the leggings.
09:48 They felt awesome.
09:49 They're super stretchy.
09:50 There's no risk of tearing.
09:51 The reason I'm upset is I like to wear gym sets,
09:55 and this top just had literally zero support.
09:58 It says medium to high support on the website.
09:59 It's a lie.
10:00 Jump test.
10:02 There's so much jiggling going on.
10:03 It's not even okay.
10:04 I was constantly pulling up the bra
10:05 and making sure I wasn't falling out of the sides,
10:08 so really not made for people
10:09 with large chest/real boobs.
10:13 I don't think I could have done anything about sizing.
10:15 This is a size small.
10:16 That's my normal size, and the band fits.
10:18 I do have a smaller rib cage and a larger cup size,
10:22 so I usually do go for a small,
10:24 and almost always it's okay.
10:26 If I size down, I would have even less room
10:28 in the boob area to cover things,
10:30 and if I sized up, it would be super loose in the band,
10:33 so there's really not much I can do.
10:34 Okay, this material does show sweat.
10:36 There is a little bit of under-boob sweat.
10:38 I don't know if you can even see that,
10:39 but there is a little bit.
10:40 I don't sweat a whole lot.
10:41 I don't sweat a whole lot,
10:42 but one of the athletes, Emily Hayden,
10:44 did post a story saying that these definitely do show sweat,
10:47 and I'll insert the picture here,
10:49 so these are not sweat-proof.
10:50 But yeah, now back to the real review.
10:52 As you can see, they do have a seamless waistband,
10:54 and they're not cutting into me at all.
10:56 Like I said from the gym test,
10:57 they stay up super well,
10:58 so you don't need to worry about
11:00 there not being top seam,
11:01 'cause they just, they're not going anywhere.
11:04 I feel like all the seams do a really good job
11:05 of not cutting into any bad places.
11:08 They do have these pockets on the side,
11:10 and they can kind of fit my phone.
11:12 I have the 11, not the plus.
11:15 The pockets are also super flattering.
11:16 They just kind of taper down,
11:18 so it's not all bulky and squarish.
11:20 Here's the back.
11:21 They are super flattering in the booty.
11:23 I'm gonna give 'em a medium to high on the booty scale.
11:25 These have about a medium compression,
11:28 but they're so stretchy
11:29 that they're not squishing the butt down,
11:30 so honestly, they just do a good job.
11:33 The booty seams are super flattering.
11:34 They have a slight widow's peak kind of pointing down,
11:37 and then come up,
11:38 and the seams do go over your butt,
11:40 so you're not getting anything
11:41 cutting over the line of your butt,
11:43 and just interfering with the shape.
11:45 The fabric isn't super thick,
11:46 so I don't expect it to be entirely cellulite-proof,
11:49 but it's not as thin as Lululemon Align,
11:52 so you might get a little more coverage than that.
11:53 The fabric feels pretty similar
11:55 to a Buffbunny Rosa legging,
11:57 except I think it might be actually
11:58 a little bit softer.
11:59 Definitely collects a little more lint, too.
12:02 We are just constantly brushing off fur.
12:05 They're very true to size.
12:06 I don't have any fabric gathering
12:08 in any places that it shouldn't,
12:09 and I just feel like it's really not gathering
12:11 around the crotch at all,
12:12 so I think that's really nice.
12:13 Definitely a change of pace
12:14 for some of their other leggings I've tried.
12:16 They do have a seam going all the way down the outside,
12:18 and all the way down the inside.
12:20 They are also totally a full length on me,
12:22 and I am 5'9", so for my taller ladies,
12:24 it will be a full length.
12:26 You might eventually get some pilling
12:27 with this type of fabric.
12:28 Probably not if you're careful,
12:30 but it's not super fuzzy.
12:32 I know it is brushed,
12:33 but it's not incredibly fuzzy,
12:35 so I actually think it might be okay.
12:36 I do think these would be pretty high performance,
12:38 and I really love that they're just
12:40 totally not restrictive at all,
12:42 and you should feel totally comfortable
12:43 doing all of your exercises in them.
12:45 But I think that these are definitely
12:46 the best Alphalete leggings I've ever had.
12:48 (upbeat music)
12:51 The Alphalux leggings in Raven
12:55 basically feel the same as the Raspberry ones.
12:58 They might be a tiny bit less stretchy,
13:01 potentially because it's a darker fabric,
13:02 but just a very little bit.
13:04 Little bit extra compression,
13:05 again, just due to the nature of the fabric,
13:07 but overall, very, very similar.
13:09 I wouldn't change any of their review, but yeah.

13:23 All right, here's the sports bra,
13:25 aka major disappointment.
13:27 The way I saw the Alphalux sports bras
13:29 is that the Elite bra was a tank strap.
13:31 It would have a little more support,
13:33 kind of be for larger chested girls,
13:35 and that the spaghetti strap one
13:37 would be a much lighter support,
13:38 which is something that someone
13:39 with a smaller chest could do.
13:40 But I was incorrect.
13:41 I did not feel comfortable working out in this.
13:43 Every time I leaned over, I had to pull this bra up,
13:46 so that was no fun for me.
13:48 It is super comfy and super soft.
13:50 I don't have any problems with it.
13:51 The back is super cute.
13:53 Like, I mean, that's adorable.
13:54 The removable cup pads are pretty hidden.
13:56 If you have a smaller chest,
13:58 this would probably be great for you.
14:00 Like, I don't see any issues.
14:01 So I don't know, I love the leggings,
14:02 but I like wearing a set, so I don't know what to do.

14:08 Next, I have the Alphalux tri bra.
14:15 It's called the tri bra because it does have
14:17 these three straps in the back.
14:18 The website says low to medium impact.
14:21 Maybe I like this more than the other sports bra
14:23 'cause I really would love to keep one of these sets
14:25 because the leggings are just so nice.
14:27 Anyways, it looks to be a decent coverage on the front.
14:30 Still scoop neck, removable cup pads.
14:32 They have kind of double spaghetti straps in the front
14:35 that come to a T-back and then split into the three.
14:38 It has the same Alphalete Alphalux rubberized logo detail.
14:42 I don't know what it is about Alphalete stuff,
14:43 but every time I get one of their brushed fabrics,
14:45 I always have like all these little clumps coming off.
14:47 It's like, could you maybe like get this off
14:50 before you send it to me?
14:51 Okay, let's try that.
14:52 So excuse this giant tag because apparently
14:54 I can't return it if I take this off.
14:56 So, love that.
14:58 So this bra actually has more coverage than the Elite bra.
15:02 I'm literally amazed.
15:03 Pretty good cleavage coverage.
15:04 I don't feel like it's quite as much.
15:06 We do have a little bit of side boobs still,
15:08 so it's not like totally full coverage.
15:10 I just feel like Alphalete bras run big.
15:12 Like I am on the larger end of a size small
15:15 in terms of cup size.
15:17 And I find all of their sports bras
15:18 have like a little bit of extra space.
15:20 And I'm just like, why?
15:22 So if you're in between sizes in any Alphalete sports bras,
15:24 like please size down.
15:26 So there's more coverage,
15:27 but there's not a lot going on in terms of support.
15:30 The straps just aren't doing much.
15:31 I mean, I didn't expect it to.
15:32 It's a spaghetti strap.
15:33 It does say light to medium support on the website.
15:35 So that's nothing bad about them.
15:37 I just feel like the fabric is kind of awkwardly
15:39 scrunching up around this area.
15:41 I don't really know what's going on.
15:43 The back is super cute and really open.
15:45 I do like the little three straps.
15:47 I just wish it was a little more supportive.
15:48 Definitely good for a back day
15:50 because I like to see my back muscles move on back day.
15:53 Peach, Peach, this isn't for you.
15:55 I can't pick up Peach to get her off my desk
15:57 because her fur will get all over me.
15:59 So yeah, yeah, light support, very light support.
16:02 I thought maybe this could potentially be
16:05 a little bit better than the other one,
16:06 but sadly I don't think so.
16:08 So good thing I kept on these giant tags
16:10 because I think I'll be returning this one.

16:17 Next we have the updated Halo leggings in Sage Green.
16:21 I do remember this from the last Halo leggings,
16:23 but this fabric of theirs is just so incredibly soft
16:26 and so unique from so many other fabrics,
16:28 but I hope I like the crotch area better this time.
16:32 I basically got these just to look at the seams.
16:34 So I am gonna show you guys the gusset crotch real quick.
16:36 It still looks like a single seam all the way around.
16:39 I think this is where people had issues with the stitching
16:42 because it is slightly thinner fabric
16:44 in some of these areas.
16:46 So as you can see, it just kind of pulls.
16:48 I personally don't usually have issues
16:50 with my crotches ripping in my leggings.
16:52 The crotch area does seem super stretchy,
16:54 so it shouldn't be a problem,
16:56 but I did already have one of you guys message me
16:58 saying that your new updated Halo leggings
17:01 ripped in the crotch.
17:01 So I don't know, I just don't have this problem
17:04 with my leggings, so I can't speak to this
17:06 'cause it hasn't happened to me.
17:07 So they do have a double thickness seamless waistband.
17:10 I feel like some people will call these
17:11 seamless leggings sometimes,
17:12 but they have just as many seams as any other leggings.
17:16 Seam to attach waistband, front seam, back seam,
17:18 seam down the leg.
17:20 Explain to me how this is seamless.
17:21 Anyways, they do have a lot of little rib detailing.
17:23 This is around the booty on the back,
17:25 and then they have this kind of breathable panel detailing
17:28 underneath the butt and going down the leg.
17:30 It stops around the knee area as well,
17:32 and I just wanna show you this fabric close up.
17:34 It is so soft.
17:35 I don't know if you can tell how soft it is,
17:37 but it just is incredibly, incredibly soft.
17:39 And another compliment on their logo,
17:41 so the Owlfully logo is embroidered into the fabric,
17:44 so it's literally in there.
17:46 Not going to peel off or anything.
17:48 Okay, let's try these on.
17:49 Okay, so not gonna take forever to review the Halos
17:52 because I have reviewed them before.
17:53 The waistband is seamless
17:54 and has a pretty good compression.
17:56 I'd say medium to high compression in the waistband.
17:59 The rest of the leggings is about a medium compression,
18:01 not very much, but still pretty good.
18:03 The fabric is so, so soft.
18:05 It's not brushed like the Alphalux,
18:07 but it is still incredibly soft.
18:08 And because of the knit nature of the fabric,
18:10 it's not going to have any pilling.
18:12 It's either the same fabric as the Revivals
18:13 or very similar.
18:15 Either way, I've had my Revivals for quite a while
18:17 and I have not pilled.
18:18 I love the subtle nature of the contour detailing they have.
18:21 They kind of have a thicker ribbed detail up here
18:23 and then kind of a panel detailing
18:25 all the way down the leg,
18:26 which just gives a little bit of contrast.
18:28 They also have the panel detailing below the booty
18:30 to kind of be a subtle booty contour.
18:32 They do have the seam to kind of separate the booty cheeks,
18:35 and I would definitely give these a medium
18:37 to high on the booty scale.
18:38 They're like really flattering, actually.
18:40 They're basically a full length on me.

20:01 to be a little bit oversized.
20:02 Some sweatshirts can be super thin
20:04 and like they claim to be lightweight,
20:06 but like they're just really not as cozy.
20:08 This actually feels super thick and comfortable.
20:10 So it does kind of have a more relaxed fit.
20:12 It is cropped, but it does have the little kangaroo pocket,
20:15 which they even said on the website
20:17 that it was called a kangaroo pocket.
20:18 So I just thought that was cute.
20:20 It does have a little quarter zip detail
20:22 and it also has the logo embroidered into the sweatshirt.

20:54 which makes it feel like really cozy and comfy.

21:41 and I didn't think they were really like worth the price.

21:47 that they're worth the price either.
21:48 They don't feel like the most cozy material.
21:50 Like they're decently stretchy, they're pretty thick,
21:52 but I just kind of like soft joggers.
21:55 The material is just okay for me.
21:56 I don't know if you can tell,
21:57 but it's not brushed or anything.
21:59 So it's not gonna be like incredibly soft.
22:00 They do have a raised rubberized detail on the side here.

22:05 Okay, so here are the women's joggers.
22:07 They're not bad.
22:08 They have a decently high waist,
22:09 goes about to my belly button.
22:10 They also have little drawstring band.
22:13 These are a size small
22:14 and they definitely are a more relaxed fit.
22:16 So I definitely wouldn't recommend sizing up
22:18 for a relaxed fit because these already feel relaxed.
22:21 So if you want more of a legging feel, I would size down.
22:24 Just 'cause there's like a lot of extra fabric
22:26 like around this region.
22:28 It's not bad, super deep pockets and they weren't wrong.
22:30 These are pretty deep.
22:31 They have kind of a curved detail around the booty here.
22:33 They always do a really good job of like the little cuffs
22:36 at the end of the drawstring so they don't fray

22:40 Yeah, and they're comfy and they're super stretchy.

23:11 So we'll see if women can pull off the men's joggers
23:14 because they tend to be a little bit cheaper
23:16 and they also sell out less quickly, so.
23:18 Got the extra small, they still look like pretty big.

23:22 They're much softer than the women's joggers
23:24 I just tried on.
23:25 As you can tell, they do look a little bit more brushed
23:27 and they also have this nice rubberized detail

23:33 and they actually don't really feel like
23:35 they're like super boxy and like woman couldn't wear these.

23:39 is they have giant pockets.
23:41 Like let me know why girls' pockets can never be like this.
23:44 But because of that, like you can't kind of see the pockets.
23:46 So I am wearing an extra small
23:48 and I would say they fit pretty well.
23:49 So I would size down.
23:51 They are super soft.
23:52 These are the identity joggers
23:53 which are supposed to be their softest jogger.
23:55 I don't remember the women's identity joggers
23:57 having zip pockets, but these have zip pockets.
