00:00 Good evening and as you can see over my shoulder there, Newcastle United training ahead of
00:06 tomorrow night's Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
00:09 The first time Newcastle United have actually visited this stadium but tomorrow night's
00:15 game is huge because they only need to avoid defeat to keep their Champions League knockout
00:23 qualification hopes alive.
00:24 They are giving it a look there, sorry I can't get a better view but yeah a bit of a depleted
00:31 squad for Eddie Howe as it has been for a few weeks now.
00:37 No Sean Longstaff today, he hasn't travelled so he stays on that absentee list.
00:44 I think in total it's actually 14 senior players out and that's with a mix of players that
00:50 have had to drop off the bench from Saturday's win over Chelsea because of UEFA regulations.
00:56 Matt Ritchie's Mark Gillespie's who were named on the bench as I said aren't eligible to
01:02 play because they weren't named in the Champions League squad.
01:04 You've also got two youngsters who made their Premier League debuts on Saturday, Amadou
01:09 Diallo and Alex Murphy.
01:12 So looking over my shoulder there, trying to work out which youngsters are here.
01:17 Michael N'Douenne, he's here, he made his debut on Saturday and Ben Portnotson as well
01:21 who obviously made his debut at Bournemouth.
01:25 So yeah a lot of youngsters.
01:27 Of course the only caster I've got, Eddie Howe, who's got no choice but to name these
01:33 youngsters on the bench because as I say they're lacking or missing a lot of senior players.
01:40 So yeah, just spoken to Eddie Howe and Nick Pope, both call it a defining game in the
01:50 group tomorrow.
01:51 So as I say, you cast your night at due, hope you need to avoid defeat here and probably
01:55 win to keep their progression, their hopes of progression into the last 16 alive.
02:03 But I'll give you another scan there and we'll catch you tomorrow.
