00:00 >> Take us through the touchdown of Troy at the end of the half and
00:02 just how much of a momentum shift that was back to you guys.
00:05 >> Yeah, that was a big moment.
00:06 We had enough time to go down and score.
00:09 We got a zero look and then I knew Troy would have leverage on the post.
00:14 And then I got around the corner and found some time and
00:17 then he had a lot of space so I just threw him open and he did the rest.
00:21 >> How critical was that first drive to setting the tone and
00:23 taking eight plus minutes off the clock, that's the longest drive of the season.
00:26 >> Yeah, it was huge.
00:27 By any means necessary, I don't think we necessarily meant to take that much
00:31 time off the clock, it just happened and we put a drive together and
00:35 we didn't hurt ourselves as the drive went on.
00:38 So that was really good and pleasing and that's how you wanna start.
00:41 >> How satisfying was this one given what happened last year and
00:44 what it provides for you to make the conference championship game?
00:47 >> It was very satisfying.
00:48 I think when you look at the whole game, we were in control pretty much the whole
00:53 time after what happened last year, we didn't wanna really go out there and
00:57 even be close, we wanted to really dominate the game and that's what we were able to do.
01:03 I think it's because on all cylinders, offense, defense, special teams,
01:07 we really executed at a high level.
01:09 And we put ourselves in great situations, we didn't have penalties,
01:13 we didn't stay behind the chains, we got off the field on third down.
01:17 And just overall, a really good team win that we can build on.
01:21 >> Why do you feel like this team's playing its best football right now?
01:25 Where have you guys elevated yourselves?
01:26 >> Well, I think after what happened at Washington, we've practiced really hard.
01:32 And that would happen regardless of the results of that game.
01:36 But I think that on top of everything else, just it adds a chip on your shoulder and
01:41 we didn't really have a choice, we couldn't lose another game.
01:44 And now that we've put ourselves in a situation like this,
01:47 we're gonna continue to practice hard and put ourselves in a spot to go win the game.
01:52 >> Last time walking across the stadium, what was that kind of experience like for
01:55 you? >> It was surreal, and
01:57 that place has been really good to me, it's been really good to my family.
02:02 The history and the whole entire program and
02:05 what it means to me is just very special.
02:10 And it picked me up when I was down and
02:13 it gave me a new sense of life in the game of football.
02:18 And it added some excitement and I'll forever hold a special place in my heart
02:23 for it and Autzen and the fans and the whole program, it really means a lot to me.
02:29 And I'll be able to have that, the O on my chest for the rest of my life.
02:35 >> How do you feel to meet the last possible Pac-10 champion quarterback?
02:39 >> Obviously really good and that started off as a goal of ours.
02:43 And now we have a chance to go play for it against a really good team.
02:46 And I know they're sitting there saying the same thing, so it's gonna be a battle.
02:51 And we're gonna have to go out there and really fight for this one and
02:55 really execute at a high level.
02:56 And limit their explosive plays and limit their plays on defense.
03:01 And to give ourselves a chance, we're gonna have to play a complete game again.
03:05 So that's gonna start in practice this week.
03:07 But it'll mean a lot to say that you're the last, but
03:10 there's been so many come before you and then life will go on after you.
03:15 So it's just a dent in time and for now all we got is tomorrow.
03:19 And so we're gonna go out there and
03:20 make sure that we put all we got on the field for Friday.
