The Dallas Cowboys (8-3) are heading into week 13 after having only a couple days off to take on the Seattle Seahawks (6-5) in AT&T Stadium for Thursday night football. This is Dallas’s second Thursday game in a row after beating the Commanders on Thanksgiving.
The Cowboys are on a hot streak after winning their last two games. They are also playing in Arlington which is a huge advantage due to the fact that Dallas averages 40 points at AT&T Stadium and are on a 13-game at home win streak, which is the longest active streak in the NFL.
On the other hand, Seattle is in a slump. They’ve lost their last three road games and are struggling to get offensive productivity. With that they are led in the run game by Kenneth Walker. QB Geno Smith will more than likely keep the ball on the ground to try and beat the pass rush Dallas brings. Head Coach Mike McCarthy said in the Monday mornings press conference that Seattle will definitely challenge Dallas’s run defense.
DaRon Bland is coming off a NFL record breaking game having five pick-sixes this season and having one in the last two games. Not only will Smith have to look out for Bland but Parsons as well. He is tied for third best in the NFL with 11.5 sacks.
Offensively, the Cowboys have been lights out on offense the last three games. QB Dak Prescott is having a phenomenal season. After Thursday night’s win to Washington Prescott attested his success to his offensive line.
He said, “i think that’s where it starts. They way they’re protecting, giving me time to take shots down the field, allowing me to extend plays.”
CeeDee Lamb has been on a roll, he’s one of the top producers in the NFL currently. He has 76 catches for 1,066 yards and six touchdowns. He has scored a touchdown in the last three games.
These two teams will go head to head on Thursday at 7:15 pm.
