Vox Pop: What gift would you like for Christmas?

With Christmas just around the corner we asked members of the public what they would like as a gift and why. This is what they had to say...

00:06 out in Lancashire and ask some of the members of the public what they would like as a Christmas

00:12 gift, whether it be a puppy, a holiday, just to spend time with some of their family members

00:18 they haven't seen in a while, this is what a few had to say.

00:23 So with Christmas less than a few weeks away, is there anything in particular you would

00:28 like in your Christmas stocking as a gift?

00:30 Yeah, a few winter jackets.

00:33 A few winter jackets, definitely.

00:35 Anything else?

00:36 Not really.

00:37 Hot water bottle?

00:38 Yeah, hot water bottle as well.

00:42 So is there anything in particular that you would like as a Christmas gift for this year?

00:46 I would love to go on a holiday to Dubai.

00:50 Oh to Dubai!

00:51 Yes, I used to live there, you know.

00:53 Wow, you used to live there, so what do you miss the most about living there?

00:57 Oh, it's the heat.

00:58 The heat, yeah, compared to the minus...

01:00 Compared to minus two, minus three, oh no, I miss the heat.

01:05 Oh, so you're hoping somebody will get you that as a little gift this year?

01:14 Have you got all your Christmas shopping presents done?

01:16 Yeah, just going to the city centre to do that now actually.

01:21 Ah, lovely.

01:22 And have you anything in mind that you would like Santa to bring you yourself as a gift

01:26 for Christmas?

01:27 Probably some winter boots, because it's like really cold and like those hand warmers.

01:34 And then apart from that, just to go home and see the family.

01:38 And where's home?

01:39 It's Kenya.

01:40 Oh, lovely.

01:41 And do you think we'll get snow for this Christmas?

01:44 Probably, because I've seen a bit of ice, so I'm assuming there is going to be snow.

01:49 And would you like some snow?

01:50 Yeah.
