Transcript
00:00 >> The defense just talked about getting after pennix, defending Rome,
00:03 those are the big keys for them.
00:04 What do you think is the biggest emphasis for the offense right now from last game,
00:08 the way it went to this one, correcting what went wrong?
00:11 >> I think just starting fast, trying to fire on all cylinders and
00:15 don't beat ourselves.
00:16 And they have a wonderful defense, they have elite coaches and elite players.
00:21 And we're just excited to play them and it's a great opportunity.
00:24 >> Since that last time you played them, you guys have kind of gone in opposite
00:27 directions.
00:28 You haven't really been in a close game, they've been in some battles.
00:31 What do you think you guys are more equipped to handle this time around and
00:33 maybe be in a close game despite not being in the front here for a while?
00:38 >> I think it's a test to our coaching and a test to our players,
00:41 really taking the challenge and stepping up.
00:43 We've had a couple of great games and we've been having fun.
00:47 And they've been doing great too.
00:50 And people say they have only won by a couple points, but
00:53 it's hard to win in this league.
00:55 And they played some great teams and have some great opponents.
00:58 But I think it's gonna be a great game.
01:00 And all I can really say is we're gonna step out, we're gonna have fun, and
01:04 we're gonna come out with 100% effort, so.
01:07 >> The matchups for you in this game, what is it about to tell a 99 and 52?
01:12 What is it about those guys, defense attack, what's the challenge?
01:15 >> They're big guys, they're fast, they're quick.
01:19 52, I went against him in high school, so we're gonna go against him again.
01:23 But there's really strong guys and there's sound and they're a veteran group.
01:29 So it's just exciting, another great opportunity.
01:32 >> Trice, you guys limited him the first time around,
01:34 NCTF for that matter.
01:36 Trice has really taken off the last six games.
01:37 What do you see from him that's different, that you have to be more cognizant of
01:42 to help out Josh and Ajani in particular off the edge?
01:45 >> Just me being, communicating where we're going and when we're going there.
01:49 And he's had a hell of a year and he's done a really great job.
01:53 And a hell of a rusher.
01:55 And just slowing him down in different ways.
01:58 And I think he's gotten so much quicker off the ball too.
02:02 And it'll be exciting.
02:03 I think our tackles are excited for the challenge as well.
