00:00 It is possible that the five-decade problem of insurgency in the country under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:09 will be solved following the addition of the government and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines.

00:15 According to the Presidential Advisor on Peace Process Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr.,

00:19 the Oslo Joint Communique is the one providing the way for a deeper relationship between the government and the NDFP.

00:29 President Marcos Jr. said that this joint process is part of the government's advocacy for a peaceful and united country.

00:38 The President also asked for public support for this joint government.

00:43 Defense Secretary Gilberto Chedoro also noted that the new agreement is not a presumption of the former peace talk.

00:52 Both parties now hope that through the formulations of the framework agreement that will set up the parameters
