00:03 - It was arguably the best game of the weekend.
00:05 One of the best games of the season in my opinion.
00:08 We saw Washington win this 34-31,
00:13 cashing their ticket into the college football playoff
00:15 and cashing the ticket for sports bettors
00:18 and betting the Huskies.
00:19 You got them at a big plus price on the money line.
00:22 You could get them as high as plus 10 as the underdog.
00:25 It did close nine and a half at FanDuel Sportsbook,
00:28 65 and a half being the total, so stays just under that.
00:32 And we did see the favorite go down outright, 34-31
00:37 in the rematch with the Ducks and the Huskies
00:41 from Las Vegas, Nevada, Joe.
00:43 This is one that, you know, I tip my cap here
00:46 towards this Washington offense,
00:48 Michael Penix leading the troops
00:50 and the defense really stepping up as well.
00:53 They got off to that early lead,
00:55 kind of got that turnover scoring the touchdown
00:57 and then were able to hang on to win the game.
01:01 Washington, it's one of the better stories really
01:05 of the college football season
01:07 and a great game on Friday Night Lights.
01:10 What'd you take away from Las Vegas overall, Joe?
01:12 - Yeah, I was blown away by what we saw out of Washington.
01:17 Their domination at the time of possession in this game
01:21 was outstanding with what we saw.
01:23 And Penix coming out so strong.
01:25 This team got off to a fast start
01:27 and we know that we saw the Ducks
01:29 in the second and the third get back into this game.
01:32 But the ability here of Washington to start fast
01:35 and finish so strong is incredible.
01:38 Oregon only had the ball for a minute and 47 seconds
01:42 of the 15 minutes of that last quarter of the game.
01:47 It was complete domination out here by Washington.
01:50 That defense stepped up.
01:52 Bo Nix still had a great game.
01:54 You look at him here.
01:55 Bo Nix came out 239 yards,
01:58 a three touchdowns and one interception.
02:01 But Penix definitely dominated 319 yards in this one,
02:05 one passing touchdown.
02:06 He did still throw that one interception,
02:08 but Washington deserved to win.
02:09 And I still can't believe as a nine and a half point dog
02:12 going into this one,
02:13 they were able to pull off
02:15 such a convincing victory here, Drew.
02:17 - Great stat there, Joe.
02:19 I mean, the Ducks only having a few minutes
02:21 in the fourth quarter, wow.
02:23 And getting that touchdown,
02:24 but just not getting the ball enough.
02:26 Also something to note here, guys,
02:27 McMillan, the wide receiver for Washington back,
02:30 looked to be a lot healthier.
02:31 He had nine receptions for 131 yards.
02:34 Look out for the Huskies in the college football playoff.
