00:00 What can you say about the effort of your boys?
00:02 Again, I guess they just really don't want to end this finals right away.
00:10 We just gave UP a good fight.
00:14 You know, players were really wanting it this afternoon.
00:18 They just tried to prepare also for the way it's gonna be.
00:22 And again, these guys really put their hearts in it.
00:26 They did their job. We're feeling happy for them.
00:29 We didn't worry about a well-prepared start after that.
00:33 We just kept on playing basketball.
00:37 Whatever the result of this afternoon, as long as we know that we did what we prepared for.
00:43 We know that they're gonna come off a good start.
00:46 They didn't cause it the first time in Game 1.
00:48 I guess we kind of buckled down on our defense.
00:53 We weathered the storm when they were making that run and we made stops.
00:57 We just had to temper that to focus on the game.
01:01 We know that it's gonna be hard.
01:04 Winning a championship is gonna be hard.
01:07 Playing against the top college team in the country right now is gonna be hard.
01:12 But for us, the moment we just keep on enjoying the game that we love, that has been good to us.
01:18 And not shying away from the responsibility of the result of the ballgame.
01:23 So come Game 3, obviously, there's gonna be a lot of work.
01:27 We know that Yubi is gonna come out with guns blazing.
01:30 For us, again, it's gonna be focused on us.
01:34 We don't know what Yubi will do, but we know what we will do.
01:37 We have to make adjustments and making sure that Game 2 is done and over with.
01:42 What's important to us is the game in front of us, which is gonna be our game on Wednesday.
01:46 So it's gonna be exciting.
01:49 We've never been there as a team, so we wanna make sure that we're gonna enjoy each and every moment that we're gonna play together in that finals.
01:58 Coach, they say that you can't teach players how to handle pressure unless they're really going to win.
02:05 So knowing that it's going to be Wednesday and 20,000 crowd out there, how do you help your mostly young team use that pressure to their advantage?
02:15 I guess that word that you mentioned goes to everybody on this team, me included.
02:21 We always remind ourselves that pressure is a privilege.
02:25 If you wanna be great, you have to face it and make sure that you look it in the eye and just say, "Take me."
02:34 Because we couldn't shy away from that because in life, you're gonna go through those hardships again.
02:41 You cannot just walk away from that.
02:43 Whether you like it or not, you have to go through it, under it whatsoever.
02:46 But our reminder is to practice.
02:51 I was telling them that their young lives, you're gonna go through a lot of challenges when you grow old.
02:58 So this is your practice.
03:00 This is the baptism of fire.
03:02 I guarantee them, you're always gonna go back to this experience.
03:06 Every time you're facing a hardship.
03:08 This one reminder is gonna keep you going, whatever it happens or whatever it takes.
