Molyneux family's annual Christmas light extravaganza shines for charity, illuminating hope at Wigan Infirmary's Rainbow Ward

Every year the Molyneux family decorate their house for Christmas with more and more lights and decorations. It's become very popular with visitors from far and wide and they collect lots of donations for Wigan Infirmary's Rainbow Ward, where their children were treated a few years ago.

00:10 So we switched them on about 20 minutes ago, we had a cracking turnout.
00:23 And yeah, plenty of money going in the box, everything worked thankfully.
00:28 So yeah, all good, everybody cheered, everybody, you can see outside,
00:32 cars are stopping and it's really good.
00:35 We've over 30,000 at the minute, so the electric meter's spinning inside.
00:39 So yeah, it's, for all good cause, that's the main thing.
00:44 Rainbow Ward at Wigan, my own boys have been in there a few times,
00:48 they've been brilliantly looked after.
00:51 They don't really get enough money through normal routes basically, so
00:55 every little bit helps them.
00:56 We buy them Xboxes, whatever they need basically for the war.
