00:33 which is under the care of the Philippine Eagle Foundation,

00:36 which serves as the home of the newest species of "pagong" in the world,

00:40 the Quora Philippinensis or Philippine Box Turtle.

00:47 last year, the study of the so-called "pagong" species began.

00:50 The photo was taken by our nursery officer during a sampling.

00:54 During that time, it is known as the Southeast Asian Box Turtle.

01:46 the PEF ensured that the newly scientifically described species of "pagong" are not in danger.

01:54 It's also important for our environment to have a new knowledge about the nature of "pagong".
