00:22 attended the 2023 Asian Paralympic Committee Conference

00:26 and General Assembly last week in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

00:30 Barredo was joined by more than 200 national Paralympic Committee representatives

00:34 from 45 countries,

00:36 including the former Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee Vice President Fritz Fahad Bin Jalaw.

00:41 In a statement to Barredo, he said that

00:45 aside from the assessments made for the sports events this 2023,

00:49 the APC also discussed the plans for the next years.

00:54 We had breakout workshops to discuss and review the existing strategic plan

01:00 and how we can extend it and improve on it for the next years

01:05 or for the next cycle year of 2023 to 2027.

01:11 As the new cycle year began,

01:14 Barredo's term as Vice President and Executive Committee Board Member of the APC ended.

01:19 Despite this, Barredo is still ready to be part of the organization.

01:24 I've been a member of the board for 10 years

01:28 and in the remaining last 4 years, I was the Vice President of the Asian Paralympic Committee.
