00:00 have this very pleasant duty of handing over the Queen's Award. I've done this from time
00:06 to time over the last few years and it's always given me pleasure to find out all sorts of
00:15 things that clever people have done and to have seen how the Queen's Award encourages
00:24 them and helps them and impresses their clients or customers. And I think this is the first
00:35 time, certainly for me, that I've handed over one to something so closely connected to County
00:43 Council and I congratulate those who first thought of it and those who put it into practice.
00:52 I seem to remember there's an alarming statistic that the building industry needs 100,000 new
00:59 recruits every year and they can only get about 60,000 from this country because they
01:08 all think, "Oh no, I should sit at a desk with a computer doing that. If I join the
01:13 building industry I'll get wet when it rains." And you have to prove that it's a much more
01:21 exciting business than doing this all day and show them that they can learn skill and
01:30 I think anybody who has a skill should be proud of it, particularly if they're paid
01:36 quite a lot, which they are in the building industry. So can I wish you every success
01:45 in your five years of this. You've then got to think of something else clever. I don't
01:52 quite know what you can do. Building industry and the church, do you think, or some other
02:01 means of employment. But may I wish you every luck and offer you my congratulations.
