Colts Center Ryan Kelly Still Loves Cincinnati

00:00 extremely proud and happy to introduce you guys to a Cincinnati native, Ryan Kelly.

00:06 He played football at Lakota West under Larry Cox, went to Alabama, drafted by the Colts,

00:13 and he is currently playing starting center. And now you get to come back to the city that

00:18 claims you basically, we I do feel like working at Cincinnati so long that we claim you as

00:24 one of our own for sure. The first question I got to ask you, though, is how many people

00:31 asked you for tickets to this game? I've known I know you've played the Bengals throughout

00:35 your career since you were drafted, but I'm I've got to think that every time you come

00:39 to Cincinnati, it's like everybody surround you in this city to try to spend a little

00:45 bit of time with you and Emma. Yeah, it's really cool. I have a lot of friends from

00:48 high school who still have the tri set area and they you know, big Bengals fans go to

00:53 a lot of games and obviously with the Bengals success last couple years, it's definitely

00:57 doubled. But it's pretty cool that you know that they'll all be there. You know, rude

01:02 for me route to the Bengals and it's always pushing coming home. You know, we used to

01:06 play that for preseason game is Cincinnati quite often. And always fun was kind of a

01:10 cool come homecoming game even though I really rarely ever play that game. But just being

01:16 there and you know, I grew up a Bengals fan. Corey Dylan was like my first ever had to

01:21 come back and then to play in that stadium is pretty amazing. And certainly all of our

01:26 family being Cincinnati still just it's I just love it. I mean, I actually brought in

01:32 a couple rolls of ghetto to the to our staff. Yeah, to our kitchen staff a couple days ago.

01:39 And I said, Hey, you guys want to cook this up for the the week? Let's fire it up. And

01:43 so I'm the biggest Cincinnati guy in Indianapolis. There's no doubt about it. So well, and Emma,

01:50 your wife is from Cincinnati as well. Do you do you guys eat some skyline after the game

01:55 or do anything like that? Like, so there's this there's one skyline close to our house.

01:59 And it's just not the same. Like when you cross over the you cross over the border on

02:02 74. Once you start getting into Ohio just tastes different when you're back there. So

02:07 we we tried it years ago. But no, we savor that moment from we go back. So we'll hit

02:12 the skyline with the roses graders and then we'll pop out or UDF or something like that.

02:16 So that's kind of our that's our trifecta and then we hit home. So that's a good that's

02:19 a good weekend for me if we can do that in the offseason.
