00:00 >> I'm given an opportunity to play a lot more in the season,
00:02 obviously due to injuries, it's never good.
00:05 But just kind of your growth from year one to year two,
00:08 your comfortability level out there and your improvement week by week.
00:11 >> Yeah, I mean, every week I feel more and more comfortable.
00:14 And I think a lot of that has to do with a little bit like security.
00:17 I know that I'm in there and I know exactly what to study and
00:19 what's coming at me.
00:21 And just being around a lot of these guys.
00:23 I mean, Carlton and Dean, when they go down, it sucks.
00:25 But they do a really good job of helping me, preparing me, and
00:29 letting me just go out there and play ball without thinking.
00:31 >> What's some of the biggest advice they give you that you've kind of taken,
00:35 maybe you've been here for two years with them,
00:37 practiced with them in the meetings with them.
00:39 That you've kind of taken and applied to your game, but
00:41 obviously still playing your game too.
00:43 >> Just being able to trust some of the small little details.
00:47 A lot of the times when I got myself in trouble in the past,
00:49 I was worrying about too much.
00:50 Worrying about another person's job or another person's responsibility.
00:54 They do a really good job of just telling me to stop worrying about everything else,
00:57 except for what's in front of me.
00:58 >> Tackling is always something that is a constant improvement.
01:01 You've done a great job at that.
01:04 What's kind of been the things that you've been working on to make sure you're
01:08 getting the wrap up and getting those tackles?
01:10 >> Yeah, just not flying in there full speed.
01:11 Like knowing when to be kamikaze and just go for it.
01:13 >> Everyone wants a hit stick, man.
01:15 >> My goodness, when I first came into the league, that's all I wanted.
01:18 I just wanted to go full speed and just go crazy.
01:20 But you gotta learn, a lot of times full speed isn't just going all out,
01:25 balls to the wall.
01:26 It's being able to slow down, know your keys, and just attack when you attack.
01:32 >> And then as far as this Falcons team, Drake London,
01:33 they've got a couple of the wide receivers out there that are dangerous.
01:37 What have you seen so far on tape, the second go around?
01:40 >> Yeah, I mean, very similar from the first time,
01:43 except I kinda think they found their identity a little bit more.
01:46 They know that they wanna get the ball to Drake London.
01:48 They know that Bijon's their guy, and they know they got Kyle Pence who's coming
01:52 along, so they got that three-headed snake.
01:55 And I think they believe in those three guys to win games.
01:57 So if we can take those three out, then we put ourselves in a great position.
02:00 >> And John New Smith too, I mean, he's the guy who beat you guys a little bit
02:03 last game, he's somebody to prepare for as well.
02:06 >> Exactly, I mean, they do such a good job with all these different personnel
02:09 looking, but every guy is very, very similar.
02:11 John New Smith is very similar to Kyle Pence, he's similar to Drake London.
02:15 So they got similar body types.
02:17 So I mean, we have a really good understanding of them, and
02:21 this second time around.
