00:04 Yeah, I thought we were better in that area.
00:07 I thought Sonny really sort of set the tone for us early on.
00:12 You know, whenever he got the ball, he was really positive with it.
00:15 And that's what you need from leadership.
00:16 And I think the rest of the lads sort of fed off that.
00:19 And yeah, we were a lot more threatening in that front third than we have been.
00:23 And, yeah, I thought we got the goals we deserve.
00:27 Again, probably could have had a couple more at least.
00:30 But yeah, really pleased with that aspect of it.
00:33 Yeah, Richie was great.
00:39 Yeah, really important.
00:41 Yeah, him and Pape coming back in, I thought, gave us some real energy.
00:44 We were going to need it tonight.
00:45 Yeah, obviously, with a midweek fixture.
00:48 And I thought they did that.
00:49 You know, the general play was excellent, but just their general energy was
00:53 very good.
00:54 And obviously for Richie, getting a couple of goals as well as a striker
00:58 is positive for him.
01:00 Yeah, no, Richie's,
01:15 you know, he was important to us at the start of the year too, you know.
01:18 And but he wasn't fully fit.
01:20 You could tell, you know, he was kind of restricted in his movements.
01:23 And, you know, at times we had to play him out wide
01:26 just to sort of get him through games.
01:28 But since he's come back,
01:31 fair to say, he feels a lot better physically.
01:33 And I think that's helped him mentally as well.
01:35 And yeah, great for him to get two goals today.
01:38 But it was just, it just wasn't his goals.
01:40 I thought his general work rate and, like I said, his energy and physicality
01:44 was very good for us.
01:49 Well, just that, that Richie's kind of, you know, healthy now.
01:56 And I think that's his best position through the middle.
01:58 And, you know, Sonny,
02:01 you know, looking at the last few weeks, most of our chances of
02:05 opportunities have fallen to the wide players.
02:08 And, you know, he's still our best finisher.
02:10 And I just thought getting him back out on the left would,
02:13 would give us, you know, some more avenues to score goals.
02:19 And yeah, as I said, Sonny set the tone early on.
02:22 And I think the rest of the lads fed off him.
02:25 Yeah. Yeah, look,
02:39 I've been struggling with that a little bit all week because,
02:42 you know, we're kind of trying to build something here.
02:45 And part of that is to kind of, you know, through the tough periods,
02:49 just not allow the lads too much latitude in terms of excuses.
02:55 But the reality of it is, and I've probably been too hard on them in retrospect,
02:59 we got decimated after the Chelsea game.
03:02 And it's no coincidence that now we're getting some players back.
03:05 We're starting to look a little bit stronger.
03:06 And I'm not going to speak on Eddie Howe's behalf, but I can see what he's going through.
03:10 You know, and in this league, you have one or two key players out.
03:13 You're going to struggle.
03:15 You mentioned James and Micky, but you missed out Benton Corr.
03:19 You missed out how important Perisic was when we won those games late.
03:22 He was the one providing. Manus Solomon.
03:25 So I could go on and on.
03:27 And but it sounds like excuses, but that's the reality of the Premier League.
03:31 You know, that's and
03:34 you don't have to need you don't need too much analysis to see why in the last few weeks
03:38 we probably haven't been as,
03:42 you know, conclusive in our sort of results as we were earlier in the year.
03:48 And when I analyze the performances,
03:51 I've asked guys to do.
03:53 I don't know how many positions Dekke's played.
03:55 You know, it's Kulasevsky.
03:56 I don't know.
03:57 Yeah. Ben Davis has turned into a centre back now, you know.
04:00 We had Emerson there at centre back.
04:03 So all these kind of things.
04:07 You know, there's some logic as to why we kind of slipped a little bit.
04:10 And in the Premier League, if you slip a little bit, that's that's enough, you know.
04:14 And so hopefully we're coming out the other side, like you said,
04:19 you know, just just having Richie and Pappé back today,
04:22 just being able to make those two changes after a midweek game.
04:25 As I said, Eddie couldn't make any changes.
04:27 And I just felt we had more energy, more legs and we needed it today.
04:30 And you spoke a little bit about Chris Davidson Friday.
04:33 Will it be a new influence to get decisions made off him?
04:36 Will you look after him from the next week off?
04:39 Mate, I have not thought about that, not for an instant.
04:43 And I doubt Chris has as well.
04:45 So we'll deal with that when the time comes.
04:48 All our energy's been...
04:49 Like I said, this is the Premier League.
04:52 If you're not in it 100 percent, if you slip a little bit,
04:55 you know, you're going to pay a price.
04:57 And our focus is firmly being on strong performance tonight and getting a result.
05:02 OK, thank you. Thank you.
05:04 Thank you.
05:05 Thank you.
05:07 OK.
