00:00 It's hard. Every day still to this day, it feels like a dream, feels like she's going to walk in,
00:05 but it's like, you know what, you got to snap it to reality.
00:07 Jackie O will always have a place in DC Young Fly's heart.
00:11 During an appearance on Tuesday's episode of Tamron Hall, the 31-year-old YouTuber opened up about how he is processing the loss of his longtime partner,
00:21 admitting he scared himself while dealing with Jackie's sudden death.
00:25 And that was the only way that I could have even dealt with the queen of my children.
00:30 So when that happened, I was like, okay, I done been through this before.
00:35 All right, I know not to act like that, because, woo, that was, I scared myself.
00:40 You mean you've been through so much loss.
00:41 I done been through so much loss, what it's like emotionally, like I'm numb to death,
00:46 because I'm used to it since 16. So every death is a different reaction.
00:52 So when my cousin, I was angry. When my father died, I was at peace.
00:57 When my best friend died, I was confused. Now, when my girl died, I'm shocked, and who is this for?
01:07 See what I'm saying? Okay, now.
01:12 Who is this for?
01:13 Who is this for?
01:14 Who is this for?
01:15 Who is this for? Who do I have to talk to?
01:19 Because this not only affects me, it affects my children.
01:22 They have went through something that I ain't even been through.
01:24 The Candy Cane Lone Star also touched on how he's been navigating his grief
01:31 and how losing Jackie made him realize his greater purpose.
01:35 Part of the grieving process, still I don't know to this day, because I'm learning.
01:39 Six months in, this is a forever thing.
01:42 So I may feel differently in two years, I may feel differently in 10,
01:47 but I'm just thankful that God allowed me to continue.
01:50 You know what I'm saying?
01:50 (AUDIENCE APPLAUDS)
01:51 All right.
01:52 And I understand my calling and I understand my purpose.
01:58 What is the calling?
01:59 The calling is, you know, I'm put here on this earth for a higher purpose,
02:06 which is to entertain the world, but also show the world where it's coming from.
02:13 You know, it's coming from the most high.
02:15 And I'm an example because now you got to see me go through trauma
02:20 and still continue with my job.
02:22 And I appreciate people like y'all because God brings people to me
02:29 who need to hear what I got to say.
02:30 The Wild 'N Out star and DC Fly dated for eight years and share three children together.
02:36 Jackie died on May 31st from cosmetic surgery complications.
02:42 Following her death, the 31-year-old actor praised his partner on social media, writing,
02:46 "You are the greatest mother I know.
02:49 Your soul was beautiful.
02:51 You always wanted the best for others, and I admired how our family loved each other.
02:55 Never had to worry about our kids loving each other because you were on top of that.
02:59 You know we God-fearing and we are grounded by the Spirit," adding,
03:04 "I prayed for you and now we are here.
03:06 But it's OK, we will continue to pray and hold on to our faith because that's all we know.
03:11 Love you forever and our kids are super strong.
03:14 They're helping me with tranquility, no cap.
03:18 You are with me forever.
03:19 The queen of my children will always have a spot in my head and the paradise.
03:23 You gone get me for that, but it's true.
03:26 Love you forever.
03:28 Just know we're going harder than ever and God is control and he got us covered."
03:33 Jackie's death also hit hard for her Wild 'N Out co-stars.
03:38 AXS Hollywood spoke to Justina Valentine following the shocking news
03:42 and she revealed how the cast was mourning her passing.
03:45 "First and foremost, rest in peace to Jackie O.
03:48 She was a beautiful soul inside and outside.
03:53 Just such a good person, such a good mother.
03:57 And yeah, I mean it was terrible for us when we found out we were filming.
04:03 Everyone was just like literally devastated, in shock.
04:08 You know, Jackie actually was on Wild 'N Out.
04:12 I think she started like a season or two before me.
04:15 So, you know, it's just like once you're a part of that Wild 'N Out family,
04:20 it's, you know, everyone always has everyone's back and it's like, it's just always love.
04:25 And then, you know, my relationship with DC, like that's my brother.
04:29 So it's like just to, you know, to feel his pain for what he's going through
04:36 was just like, just nothing short of tragic.
04:40 So we all felt the effect of it and like are still feeling the effect."
