00:00 I've had this hut for the last few years and they have never been maintained or
00:06 painted. The stones are never moved. At the moment we can't open the doors on
00:11 these huts, most of us, and nothing is done. They now want to charge us £1,752
00:19 a year for having these huts. It's absolutely disgusting when they do
00:25 nothing. This is a repair they've done on my hut, stuck two pieces of wood and now
00:31 I can't even open the door. So this council should be shamed for what they've
00:38 done to people. Because Kaysing's Council hasn't repaired the door you couldn't
00:43 actually lock it properly so we got broken into. So they came and repaired it
00:49 and the way that they've repaired it, you can see what excellent quality it is, but
00:54 you can't actually open the door because this has gone over it. So we can't
01:00 actually get into the hut after they've repaired it. During the Covid times we
01:07 had a letter saying we were not allowed to use our beach hut yet we paid in full.
01:12 We never had any reduction. We've got nothing because Southern Water have
01:18 taken over the car park so there's nowhere for people to park. Elderly
01:23 people that have these huts can't even come here, there's no wheelchair access.
01:28 The stones are terrible to walk along. I've managed to move a bit of mine but
01:33 the other people they can't move them and the council say they won't move them.
01:37 How am I supposed to get to a room on my own?
01:42 (mumbling)
01:44 (audience laughing)
