00:00 the game.
00:03 One of those teams, Doc, that's having a very good feel good year this year is the Houston
00:06 Texans.
00:07 That insult to injury, not only losing to the Jets, but also losing your starting quarterback
00:11 in that football game, CJ Stroud, and also starting wide receiver, Nico Collins, with
00:15 a calf injury.
00:16 Talk about the uphill climb for both of these guys if they expect to play next week against
00:20 the Tennessee Titans.
00:21 Well, CJ Stroud, you know, I think there's something to say, look, MetLife claims another
00:27 player, but that hit on Grass is still very similar.
00:31 Is Grass a little bit softer than Turf?
00:34 Maybe.
00:35 And obviously visual signs of concussion.
00:37 The key is how quickly he can clear and get rid of symptoms.
00:42 If he's got symptoms this morning and into this week, there's no way that he will play.
00:47 It's not impossible that he'll play.
00:49 Our numbers show over the last couple of years it's 22% chance to clear without missing the
00:53 next game.
00:54 Derek Carr has done it twice this year from concussions.
00:58 Kenny Pickett's done it before.
00:59 A lot of other examples of players missing.
01:02 It's no different if you're a quarterback, running back, wide receiver, or offensive
01:06 lineman.
01:07 It's the same concussion protocol.
01:08 So 22%.
01:10 And I would imagine they'll be cautious with their young star.
01:13 Nico Collins' calf injury, not his first one, right?
01:17 He had it in November as well.
01:19 So unless it's just a little bit of scar tissue, which I doubt, I think he's headed for a
01:24 little bit of absence.
01:25 And obviously Houston's short some pass catchers right now with Tank Dell, Dalton Schultz,
01:31 et cetera.
