00:14 I think Cortland obviously has been special all year.
00:18 He's tremendous work ethic, great leader, great teammate,
00:21 got great hands, can catch everything.
00:24 And I mean, he did a good job cuz he was going deep,
00:27 kind of came back for a second and then he went deep again, which was a really great
00:31 play by him and one handed in front of our fans was pretty special.
00:34 Yeah, I mean, I think the nonverbal communication is everything.
00:38 I think obviously the verbal, but I think the nonverbal.
00:40 And as we watched film and studied film throughout the whole week and
00:44 the off season, everything else, just talking about ball.
00:46 These guys, these receivers, these tight ends, running backs,
00:49 everybody, offensive line, these guys are obsessed with the game.
00:52 And we get to play with guys like Cortland Sutton, who cares about the game,
00:54 his intellectual understanding of what to do in certain situations.
00:59 I'm really trying to create these scrims, cuz the scrims are gonna happen in a game,
01:02 especially when our line's blocking the way they did today.
01:04 And he thought top down, let's go deep, let's take a shot, and
01:08 I tried to give him a chance and he made a great play.
01:11 >> You said he heard your voice in his head saying top down.
01:14 Is that what you're telling us?
01:15 >> Yeah, a little something like that, a little birdie in his ear, I guess.
01:19 But I think all the hard work, I think it pays off.
01:24 And when you practice the right way, when you have the right mentality,
01:26 when guys care as much as they care.
01:28 But yeah, I think he said he heard my voice on that play.
01:32 So I'm thinking, top down, whatever, so it was a good play by him.
