00:00 Birmingham City are in quite a rough position to say the least when it comes to their injury woes.
00:05 We all knew about Alfie Chang at the start of the season, his ACL injury which is keeping him out for the rest of the season, a big blow for the youngster.
00:12 But there have been a lot more recent ones as well. Keshie Anderson, that was a while ago obviously with his hamstring problem, he's been out for about three months.
00:19 Tyler Roberts, he's had so many setbacks, he's not played under Wayne Rooney yet.
00:23 Kevin Long, he's been out for quite a few weeks now with a calf problem.
00:26 George Hall, one of the most talented young players at the club, but he's had a string of hamstring injuries and he was just getting back to fitness with the under-21s.
00:34 He felt his different hamstring go and now he's set for another extended period out.
00:38 So we kind of knew about those lot, but three more now.
00:42 Dion Sanderson, Cody Drummer and Ethan Laird.
00:45 Ethan Laird is the big one, expected to miss another two months now with a hip injury.
00:50 He was a hamstring one at the start of the season that kept him out for about eight weeks and now he's expected to be out for two months again, this time with a hip problem.
00:59 It wasn't thought to be serious when he went off against Rotherham, but further scans have shown that there has been a tear to his hip, unfortunately.
01:07 But there are two positive updates I should say. Cody Drummer and Dion Sanderson who both missed the game at Coventry.
01:14 Sanderson woke up with a pain in the night with his foot, which is what Rooney described.
01:20 Sanderson couldn't play that one, but he should be back this midweek against Cardiff, if not against Leicester City on the following Monday.
01:28 Drummer is in a very similar position for a return date. He rolled his ankle in the training session, but it's not serious and he should be back for one of Blues' next two games hopefully, and if not then, definitely the one after.
01:39 So, definitely an injury crisis for Wayne Rooney and it's difficult as well against two very important games in contrasting ways.
01:46 Cardiff away from home, maybe nowhere near as good as Leicester, but still a difficult game.
01:51 And then at home, a slightly difficult test again against Leicester City who are top of the table. I say slightly, incredibly difficult.
