00:00 All right, so little inside baseball what's going on?
00:05 My mother is in town, I've already talked about that
00:08 and I appreciate all the well wishes for everybody,
00:10 but that's causing a different schedule.
00:12 And sometimes I record noonish, one-ish,
00:16 the day before it actually airs.
00:18 So sometimes news breaks after the fact
00:20 and that happened with Caden Priestcorn yesterday.
00:25 We did a show about Jordan Watkins,
00:27 mentioned Caden Priestcorn as being the least likely
00:29 to come back, honestly.
00:31 And then Caden Priestcorn comes back.
00:32 I honestly expect Ole Miss to do the same thing
00:35 in the next couple of days with Trey Harris
00:39 and Jackson Dart and Quenshawn Judkins and all those guys,
00:42 because that's just the way this is going to work.
00:45 But we'll see exactly how that happens.
00:49 Caden Priestcorn though is coming back to school
00:52 and this is a big pickup for Ole Miss,
00:54 like a really big pickup.
00:56 He had 20 catches for 313 yards, two touchdowns.
00:59 He averaged 15.6 yards per reception as a tight end.
01:04 He's going to be taking his, I guess his next senior year.
01:09 He's 6'5", 255 pounds.
01:11 He's a heck of a run blocker.
01:12 I mean, he is a plus plus run blocker
01:15 on Ole Miss' offensive line.
01:17 Just look at the projection of Quenshawn Judkins
01:19 before and after he got healthy
01:22 to see exactly what he can do.
01:24 He's able to number 86 tight end, staying in the SIP.
01:29 This is a big deal.
01:30 This really is a big deal.
01:32 And you're talking about an offense
01:33 that is going to be really, really explosive,
01:36 especially with the addition of Deion Smith.
01:38 I talked about yesterday how Mississippi State
01:40 is probably making some recruiting bones in this cycle.
01:44 Recruiting against playing time at Ole Miss
01:48 because of how good the recruiting room is,
01:51 the wide receiver room is.
01:54 And you still have good players.
01:55 They are, they're going to be fine.
01:58 But it's going to be interesting to see
02:02 how the play count is divvied up.
02:04 Because Deion Smith, like I said,
02:05 is probably one of the best wide receivers
02:08 in the Southeastern Conference day one.
02:10 You have Trey Harris potentially coming back.
02:13 I'm feeling better by the moment on Trey Harris.
02:16 And if something's happened by now,
02:18 the Grove Collective dropped another graphic,
02:20 I'm not going to be completely surprised by that at all.
02:23 And you have Jordan Watkins coming back,
02:26 who's just a monster in the slot.
02:28 So him and Caden Priestcorn,
02:29 the middle of the field is kind of taken care of.
02:32 And you replace a Dayton Wade,
02:33 who's a good football player.
02:35 I enjoyed him all season long.
02:37 Replace him with a Deion Smith.
02:39 And then behind him, you have Braylon Brown,
02:42 you have Aiden Williams, you have even JJ Henry,
02:45 you have Caden Lee, you have people behind him,
02:47 Larry Simmons, players like that,
02:50 that they're going to get their opportunity eventually.
