00:00 Property experts, Rightmove, have revealed the happiest places to live in the capital,
00:06 with one London spot nabbing the happiest place to live in the UK.
00:10 Rightmove asked 26,000 people across the UK a multitude of questions on green spaces, high streets and the community.
00:18 And from the results, we've put together a list of the five highest ranking London boroughs.
00:24 Now known worldwide for being a filming location of the hit Apple TV show Ted Lasso,
00:30 Richmond has been dubbed the happiest place to live in the whole of the UK.
00:34 Famous for deer spotting at Richmond Park, its affluent high streets full of shops and restaurants,
00:39 it's no surprise that Richmond has ranked so highly.
00:43 Although it is worth mentioning, any homeowners here are living in properties worth an average of just under £1 million,
00:50 which is something to smile about in of itself.
00:53 Coming in at number two in London's jolliest places to live, according to Rightmove, is the equally affluent Chelsea.
01:00 As well as being home to one of London's biggest football clubs,
01:03 it's also famed for the King's Road that is littered with posh shops and restaurants.
01:09 Chelsea became even more popular after the Channel 4 reality show Made in Chelsea
01:13 followed wealthy young characters gallivanting around the area.
01:18 At number three, saw the City of London make a surprise appearance,
01:22 which is pretty good going for a place that's not technically a borough.
01:27 Often thought of as the financial district of the capital, the City of London even has its own police force too.
01:35 Amongst the top five was Wandsworth, the only borough south of the river in the list of the top five.
01:42 With three commons, open spaces and great national rail links,
01:46 Wandsworth has been an increasingly popular place for young families to settle down in London.
01:52 And it's no surprise that the London hotspot Camden was also in the top five.
01:56 One of the capital's most renowned areas with its own market, bustling high street, music venues,
02:01 Camden has it all and residents obviously feel the same way too.
