00:02 So Phil, as we look back on the end of week 14 before we set the stage for
00:07 the final month of this NFL regular season, one of the marquee matchups on
00:11 Sunday in Arrowhead between the Chiefs and the Bills.
00:15 The fantastic play that wasn't because of the offensive offsides penalty on
00:19 Kadarius Tony.
00:20 The final result, Buffalo wins outright as a short underdog,
00:25 20 to 17 inside Arrowhead.
00:28 Phil, what was your reaction to that final call,
00:31 the offensive offsides on Kadarius Tony?
00:33 And then perhaps your reaction to the reaction from Patrick Mahomes and
00:38 the rest of the Chiefs.
00:39 >> It was a penalty.
00:41 I mean, I don't know what else to say.
00:43 I love the people that talk about and say,
00:46 the cheetahs is out of a great moment on TV.
00:50 That's what it's all about.
00:51 Let's go do what's real and legal and what we're supposed to do as an official in
00:55 the NFL.
00:56 He should have known what a great play, let's pick up the flag.
01:00 So that's ridiculous.
01:02 And Patrick Mahomes and Amy Reid, their words and
01:06 what they want to say afterwards, hey, look, I understand.
01:09 I mean, nobody was a bigger hothead after a game than me.
01:12 And so I yell and force some more officials and
01:15 I go to confession to say, I'm sorry.
01:18 >> [LAUGH] >> That's what I really think.
01:22 And it was so egregious.
01:24 And here, look, I know the rule they go by, and it's this.
01:28 A blade of grass is what they always tell me the officials.
01:31 If it's just as long as there's a difference in a blade of grass,
01:34 we won't throw the flag.
01:35 We see the tackles.
01:37 I see legal formations a lot every single Sunday.
01:41 And they give them the benefit of the doubt most of the time.
01:44 But when it's egregious, they have to call it, in my mind.
