00:00 the PGA Tour.
00:03 Okay. Okay. So, the PGA Tour has
00:10 made a lot of news to Pat over
00:11 the last couple of years with
00:13 everything that's going on with
00:15 Live Golf. We got the news that
00:16 John Rahm is leaving the PGA
00:18 Tour to go to Live Golf. 6
00:20 months ago, we thought the PGA
00:21 Tour and Live Golf were going
00:22 to be together but a little bit
00:24 of a boost here in terms of
00:26 what's going on in North
00:27 Carolina with sports betting
00:29 and tell us more about how this
00:31 is going to work. Yeah. So, I
00:33 mean, this goes back to
00:35 September when there was a law
00:36 change to require a partnership
00:39 between professional sports
00:40 organizations and sports books
00:42 to apply for a license and so
00:44 FanDuel has entered a
00:46 partnership with the PGA Tour
00:48 to apply for a sports betting
00:50 license in North Carolina and I
00:52 think that's kind of of note
00:54 because one, you know, we still
00:56 don't know exactly what was the
00:57 driving force behind that law
00:59 change in September but I've
01:01 been told, you know, by sources
01:03 that it was the organizations
01:05 like NASCAR and their tracks and
01:07 the PGA Tour and their courses
01:09 because they believe that'll,
01:11 you know, we've heard so much
01:13 over the past couple of years of
01:14 how much organizations and teams
01:16 and leagues believe sports
01:18 betting will increase, you know,
01:20 fan engagement and revenue and
01:22 all that and you know, I think
01:23 this is just another point to
01:25 make and FanDuel and PGA Tour
01:27 makes sense because the PGA Tour
01:29 has been, you know, really
01:31 pushing how to increase sports
01:34 betting on it and they've
01:36 partnered with FanDuel a number
01:38 of times to kind of increase the
01:39 options of, you know, during play
01:43 betting, in play betting or in
01:46 round betting, I don't know how
01:47 they're phrasing it for golf but
01:50 you know, things like, you know,
01:51 closest to the pin, longest
01:52 drive, all that and so this is
01:55 just another step in that
01:56 partnership kind of an official,
01:58 you know, license deal to get
02:01 into North Carolina. There's a
02:02 meeting right now as we're
02:04 speaking, Matt's filling in for
02:05 me watching that meeting in North
02:07 Carolina which we may, I highly
02:10 doubt it, but may get an update
02:11 on a potential launch date in
02:14 North Carolina when these
02:16 operators will be able to go.
02:18 Of course, we only know three so
02:19 far that have the official
02:20 partnerships, Bet365, FanDuel
02:25 and I can't recall the other one
02:27 so we'll have to wait on that
02:30 but yeah, you know, we know
02:32 Vermont now, January 11th so
02:34 that's a big step and we do know
02:36 that North Carolina will not
02:37 launch in time for the Super
02:41 Bowl so we're kind of expecting
02:43 the March Madness around that
02:45 time launch in North Carolina
02:47 which for that state, that's a
02:49 huge potential acquisition time
02:51 with all the college basketball
02:52 teams that will likely still be
02:53 playing.
