00:00 >> What makes it so difficult, especially in December?
00:03 >> I've only played there in December, so yeah, it's kind of hit or
00:07 miss on the weather, what you're gonna get.
00:08 But yeah, guys, just have to be prepared for the grass.
00:11 That's something that I learned pretty quickly.
00:13 It's slick, this late in the year, obviously, it's not in the best condition.
00:17 It's a little bit longer, so you gotta be ready for that.
00:19 And then in the football aspect, it's a historical place.
00:23 I grew up a huge Brett Favre fan, so first time I got to go there,
00:27 it was just kind of take it all in pregame.
00:30 When it comes down to it, it's still a football field when the game comes.
00:33 But yeah, it's a special place to play, and it's a great opportunity for us.
00:37 And this end of the season push that we have coming on,
00:39 they're in a similar situation as us, so it's gonna be a good matchup.
00:43 >> What about Favre made you gravitate towards him?
00:45 I mean, you could see some similarities in style.
00:48 >> Just the way his love of the game, his love for his teammates,
00:50 how he enjoyed it all the time.
00:52 Just, yeah, I fell in love watching him when I was younger.
00:55 >> We talked all year about the run game, right?
00:57 Wasn't there, fast-pushed team, not getting much out of it.
01:00 These last three, four weeks, you're starting to really see where they can do
01:05 that, and most of it was in the fourth quarter, the last game.
01:09 So what has, I mean, it's not one thing, right?
01:12 But what have you seen out of that, and
01:15 how much better can you be as an offense when you can do both?
01:19 >> It sets up, the run game sets up the pass, and
01:22 that's just, you have to be able to run the ball to win games,
01:25 to get to where your ultimate goal is.
01:27 And just the overall improvement for the past couple weeks has been guys just
01:31 trusting all the little things, not trying to do too much,
01:33 do the little fundamentals.
01:35 The great footwork, your first step is so important.
01:37 Obviously, the targeting of it, Bob's been great at doing all that all year, but
01:41 just everybody's on the same page, getting on the same track.
01:44 And just the more reps they do, the better they get.
01:46 And that goes hand in hand with Rashad getting the same amount of reps behind
01:50 those guys, understanding how they're gonna set up blocks, their body language,
01:53 and all that.
01:53 So yeah, it's been a huge difference, and obviously,
01:56 you guys saw it take over late in the game for us.
01:58 And it was the big difference for us to win.
02:00 >> And that's what you have to do at this time of the year, too,
02:02 you have to be able to run the football to make plays.
02:04 >> Yeah, you gotta be able to run the ball, you just need it.
02:07 And so to be able to, whether you have a lead, or just to stay in the game,
02:11 to keep defenses off track, to where they can't just send their pass rushers
02:15 in a three-point stance and just hauling off the edge.
02:17 So you gotta keep them off balance a little bit.
02:20 Yeah, short-arted situations, obviously, down in the red zone,
02:22 you gotta be able to run the ball as well.
02:23 >> Can you talk about Aaron Stinney, what he's meant to the running game?
02:27 Said they really got to the point of attack, not just on the screen pass, but
02:30 just right there.
02:32 >> Yeah, he's a guy that, obviously, once he got his chance,
02:36 has taken advantage of it.
02:38 It's been great for us.
02:40 Obviously, he's played a lot of ball before, had some injuries, but
02:43 it's good to see him back healthy and playing the way that he knows how.
02:46 And so he's been a huge difference, and just running on that left side,
02:49 obviously, Tristan is who he is.
02:51 So we trust that left side, and then Stinney's been blocking his ass off for
02:55 the most part.
02:56 I mentioned him on that screen pass after the game, but then looking back on it,
03:00 Cody and Bob had great blocks on it too, downfield.
03:03 So those guys are all playing really well together.
03:06 They've come a long way, and that's the growth that you just wanna see
03:09 throughout the year, especially in the new system.
03:10 They're all on the same page, getting it going.
03:12 >> When you look at this Packers defense,
03:14 what's the one thing that stands out to you as far as how they'll try to attack
03:18 the offense?
03:19 >> They present different fronts, and they have the personnel to do it.
03:23 It starts up front with Sean Gary and Kenny Clark, two really good players.
03:27 It's good to see Rashaun back healthy after his injury, and
03:30 he's a great player.
03:30 So we gotta know where those two guys are.
03:33 And then their linebackers are really aggressive, physical guys,
03:36 bigger linebackers that know how to fit the run.
03:39 So they present issues similar to some of the teams that we've seen,
03:42 and they have great players.
03:43 So, and in the back end, they have smart guys that know how to disguise coverages.
03:48 They all play really well together, and so that's a big difference.
03:52 So we have to know certain looks they're gonna give us and
03:54 be able to handle the physicality in the battle that's gonna be up front.
03:57 >> Big ball always goes with a defense kind of dictation, right?
04:02 They're always gonna try to double Mike, and he's had big days.
04:05 >> Yeah. >> Chris has had some.
04:07 How do you get them both going at the same time?
04:09 Can you envision that ever happening?
04:11 >> Yeah, we'd love to have that.
04:14 But football's the, it's the weird sport where some guys have unbelievable games,
04:18 and some guys are kinda just role players.
04:20 But yeah, we'd love to be able to have both those guys having huge games.
04:24 That comes down to being able to move them around different spots,
04:26 present different looks.
04:28 Not letting them dictate how we're gonna play offense based on coverage.
04:32 And so, yeah, we try to be multiple formation wise,
04:35 motion guys over and do certain things.
04:37 But yeah, Falcons presented us with some issues, and so
04:40 we're gonna have to learn and grow from there.
04:42 >> Is that one of those instances where as you guys become a more formidable
04:46 running team, 120 yards against the Colts, 125, the Panthers, 148 against the Falcons,
04:53 that you're gonna start seeing that safety come down the box.
04:56 And that's gonna take away the, cover two looks.
04:59 >> Yeah, create more one on ones for Chris Anemone.
05:01 >> Exactly, and that's what you wanna be able to do.
05:03 So that's why when you say you have to run the ball, it's to present those one on
05:06 ones for our skilled players that can take advantage of those matchups.
05:09 And just it opens everything else up.
05:11 Like I said, it keeps them off balance to where they can't just sit back in
05:14 a two shell look and stop the run at their front.
05:18 So that helps everybody.
05:19 And then when those one on ones happen with our receivers,
05:21 they need to take advantage of it as well.
