00:28 Hello and welcome to the Full English, a show that combines politics with not, facing a
00:32 constant crisis over my leadership. The same cannot be said for British SUNAC, who now
00:37 has the same approval ratings as Boris Johnson did when he quit. Let's get into it.
00:44 This week the government won a vote on its new Rwanda Bill, but only after the so-called
00:48 five families of children/Tory MPs decided to abstain rather than vote against it. They
00:54 want the legislation to be made even tougher. The thing is, ministers are already worried
00:59 it's so extreme it might be illegal. Mr SUNAC has said he will listen to these concerns,
01:03 but this just shows how weak he is. No serious politician meets with Marc François. I mean,
01:10 what year is it? What these rebels seem to be ignoring, aside from international law,
01:15 is the impact of voting down legislation has been made a confidence issue for the Prime
01:19 Minister. If they block this in the new year, which they could, the final throw of the dice
01:24 on stopping the votes will be over. And if they don't, it could still be illegal and
01:28 over anyway. The Prime Minister, with his Rwanda legislation, has made a rod for his
01:33 own back, and one that is looking increasingly likely it will cause his end. I mean, he's
01:39 going to lose the next election anyway, but this is, you know, we're speeding up the
01:42 process, we're just, you know, skipping to the end. That's what we learned. The
01:47 Tory MPs are capable of nicknames even sillier than when they called themselves the Spartans.
01:52 And secondly, these hardcore Brexiteers want to feel important more than they want to win.
01:57 Until next time, the final time, I've been Alexander Brown, and you haven't.
